Echolocation. The bat can't use its blindsight while deafened.
Keen Hearing. The bat has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing.
Actions
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 1 piercing damage.

How does a bat get a 5ft reach with it's bite?
dart in, bite, dart back to normal range
A "5ft reach" means the square next to you. It is the minimum range on melee attacks.
can we have some of that bread
I like bread.
Long teeth
Where are they keeping the bread ??
Did someone say bread?
I also like bread
Bread?
Perhaps this is the only intelligible comment on the Bat thus far...
Taking a Bat as ones familiar allows you to pinpoint the presence of invisible creatures, like a Living Unseen Servant, with the bat's echolocation. Who needs See Invisibility now??
Bread
Corona at its finest.
Upon consumption, the target must make a DC 23 constitution saving throw or take 3 levels of exhaustion after 2d6 days. Every 1d4 days after failing the saving throw, make a DC 15 constitution saving throw, removing a level of exhaustion on a success or taking an additional level of exhaustion on a failure. A long rest does not remove these levels of exhaustion.
Does Blindsight penetrate Darkness?
Yes.
Behold, what becomes of a sorcerer for a few seconds if her friend refuses to cooperate with a freaking hag.
Here's an interesting question.
The bat's hit points are determined by rolling 1d4 and taking one off the result. So, in theory, if you roll a one on the d4, does the bat just die? Is it too unstable to survive?
Just a thought ._.
EDIT: What's going on with the bread? Just everyone was saying about bread like 3 months back.
It can move around a 5ft cube in less then a second so it can attack you within 5ft. it is not like it is just sitting on the ground. nothing actually remains totally stationary during a fight.
