Elemental Demise. If the efreeti dies, its body disintegrates in a flash of fire and puff of smoke, leaving behind only equipment the efreeti was wearing or carrying.
Innate Spellcasting. The efreeti’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: detect magic
3/day each: enlarge/reduce, tongues
1/day each: conjure elemental (fire elemental only), gaseous form, invisibility, major image, plane shift, wall of fire
Multiattack. The efreeti makes two scimitar attacks or uses its Hurl Flame twice.
Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage.
Hurl Flame. Ranged Spell Attack: +7 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (5d6) fire damage.
Warlock: Noble Genie Pact
Patron: Efreeti
Sends you out to claim riches, treasure, and other slaves. In exchange, promises to give you freedom.
But never gives you freedom.
Or the efreeti gives you power in exchange you break it's seal. It would still aid, it could be flavored as when you level up the seal is slowly chipping away.
Yeah that’s the point -_-
Djinni are air elementals, and therefore the efreet are fire elementals :)
The race genasi are part elemental part humanoid, meaning a fire genasi would be part efreet. On the genasi race, you can find information about these genasi as well as the genasi who are part water and earth elementals (doa, I believe?)! They're quite cool, imo :) But yes, basically fire version of djinni :p
Yeah, genies are elemental in D&D 5e. That's exactly how genies work.
The sword can easily be treated as a flame tongue scimitar or a normal one influenced by its elemental magic.
"I must admit, your parlor tricks are amusing..."
The multiattack states that it can make 2 scimitar attacks or 2 hurl flame attacks but surely there's nothing stopping it from doing 1 of both?
My warlock is a fire Genasi and his patron is his Efreeti father. So just imagine their patron-warlock/father-son relationship.
Besides azers and salamanders what kind of minions would an efreet have
I'm trying to come up with a good name for my Warlocks patron... I'm picturing the Efreeti as a red skinned Garudo but I still need help with the name
Basic fire Elementals, mephits of various types, magmins, maybe sturdy Earth elementals, efreet lower in tbe hierarchy, fire giants, lesser devils, hell hounds, and perhaps various humanoids that are protected from the heat by magic.
Who needs djinns when you can summon Darth Maul?
I took some notes off of a dungeon to use in campaign my by xp to level 3 and i was looking over the notes and saw this monster wnd I looked at the challenge rating and was like woah, I’m nerfing this into the ground :)
yeah no duh
fire elemntals and mephits
In the case of my character, I had to destroy a powerful magic user. The efreeti decided to stay, after being freed, because he, too, was a bastard, like her
Don't be shy, name him Ganon.
haha
Actually, that is not an option at all. The only options are (1) one action from the list or (2) the Multiattack, exactly as listed.
Of course, as the DM, you can overrule anything. But RAW, nope.
