I can't see or hear of a Gnoll without thinking of Everquest. Anyone remember that game? With the Gnoll cave?
There is a blast from the past.
Yep I remember EQ.
Regular gnoll regular gnoll....regular gnoll regular gnnnooolllllllll
Playing a desert/plains campaign and I'm loving these guys.
Is it bad that I want these guys to become playable? Lol love Hyenas
I wanted to turn one of these into my character. I'm not sure if that is exactly legal in DND though. Does anyone know if I can use the gnoll as my DND character.

These just make me think of Everquest. The black burrow gnoll caves, one of my favorite places and memories of the game.
This monster killed my Halfling Fighter in a Campaign
Thom the Dragonborn Vidalis be like "I hate Gnolllllssssss"
I am currently building a campain for a group of new player, where the Gnolls are the main source of horror. 7’ tall hyenas that kill and eat humans, born out of the essens of a the demon lord of destruction. 1 to 4 level characters will shit them self when they hear the barking howls of hyeans and know that if they fall behind, they will get eaten alive....(insert evil laughter)..
I remember the /y Train to zone!
All the time! If you ever stayed by the zone in..... you could be in deep trouble!
do you think 127 gnolls will do for a party 7 level 4
Me too! I just want it to be an official race for dnd beyond...
I found this homebrew if you need it.
It's really fun to play as a gnoll!
