Posted Jan 5, 2024Dumbest thing with the free stuff you already gave out, is that you can use the old link to get them anyways. Someone posted it and I was still able to claim it. So the free stuff was basically nothing due to the fact you can still claim it anyways, but hey the sheet music is pretty cool. Just wished they had more imagination/ideas instead of coupons too late to use due to the fact that shipping wouldn't make it come in time for Christmas. They really should've thought that through more.

Posted Jan 6, 2024I would imagine the proportion is very high. Halfway through the month, they stopped making you open the windows to see previous days, which iirc is something they've never done before. My suspicion is that they promised their licensed advertisers a certain number of eyes on their ads, likely informed by prior years' calendars. But they quickly realized that this year they weren't getting nearly as many views because people stopped opening windows at a rate much higher than previous years (since from a consumer standpoint this year's calendar was far less enticing than previous years') - so they changed it to ensure that just opening the webpage was sufficient to get views on the ads, without the customer needing to click anything.
I really can't see any other reason they'd have changed the display format this year compared to previous years, especially since they did it partway through the month and doing so broke the page's layout to an extent (both of which suggest the change was not planned in advance).
