From all of us at Dungeons & Dragons, thank you! For 50 years, you have shared in our passion to tell stories of heroics and realms beyond imagination. It is an honor to be a part of something that helps bring people together to tell stories that move us. We hope you are as excited about the year to come as we are.
Michael Galvis (@michaelgalvis) is a tabletop content producer for D&D Beyond. He is a longtime Dungeon Master who enjoys horror films and all things fantasy and sci-fi. When he isn’t in the DM’s seat or rolling dice as his anxious halfling sorcerer, he’s playing League of Legends and Magic: The Gathering with his husband. They live together in Los Angeles with their adorable dog, Quentin.

If you already own a copy of Player's Handbook / Dungeon Master's Guide / Monster Manual on DNDBeyond, will it automatically update to the revised version?
This anthology for character levels 1-13 brings six classic D&D adventures to fifth edition. I love that.
It would be really amazing, but I think it's not going to happen :'(
YES
So did I, are you on mobile?
I guess these are the release dates of the core books in English, Âżright?
ÂżWhen will they be available in SPANISH?
ÂżOr will the books be released simultaneously in several languages?
last year i just start dnd and it is the best thing i have ever played i even got my friends into it
It is human-drawn. The artist posted about it on Twitter. Campbell White.
To 50 years of profesional nerdiness:
Could you make this wallpaper download into an actual backdrop, so we can use it on dnd beyond?
x2
Doubtful as 1) this is a new revenue source and 2) people will still want their original 5e editions to use if they so choose.
The odds are, they'll be marked as "Legacy" like other source books are.
Congratulations with the 50th anniversary!
Honestly I think it’ll be better to wait for some BG3 mods that will allow it. There is no way WoTC can come up with anything close if we can get some DM tools Mod.
bruh I just bought the current phb and now you're telling me I need to buy another one?!
I will play the current edition until at least mid-2025.
The rules will probably remain almost the same. The main differences will be in the classes, feats, background, and some spells. Nevertheless, I would like to transition to the new editions, but there's no rush.
Are you gonna celebrate by retaining employees this year?
WooHoo
Come to Houston!
