Hello world!
Today, all D&D Beyond Drops player options and monsters are now enabled for Master Tier content sharing.
By next Thursday (June 18), all D&D Beyond Drops Maps content will also be enabled for Master Tier content sharing.
Thank you for helping us continue to shape D&D Beyond Drops into the program you want it to be. I hope you enjoy creating and sharing more together!
*It may take up to 24 hours for Drops content to appear if you are shared on it. If you don't see Drops content in your library and are shared on it, you can manually resync your entitlements by visiting this link and clicking "Sync My Entitlements."

Posted Jun 12, 2026Do you need to be in a campaign so the DM can share them with you?

Posted Jun 12, 2026As a Master Tier subscriber who did complain about the player options (and gave specific feedback in survey(s)), I appreciate this. Thanks for handling this so well. I'll now be looking forward to more of these Drops.

Posted Jun 12, 2026If you don't know where he's getting the mustache twirling villains from you didn't read the original posts. People like you were acting like this was some big moral imperative when it's a big fat nothing. Yay, you can get content without paying for anything ever while you mooch off of your friends. Thank goodness. You're not going to get an apology from anyone who said this wasn't a big deal. It's not a big deal. I didn't see anyone on the other post saying "I'm really glad this isn't shareable content." I only saw people telling others to try not to come completely unglued over it.

What's really frustrating is I said "the hyperbole", and you immediately decided that you were the only voice relevant to the conversation therefore ererything was about you. I was describing the content of dozens of posts on that thread, as well as across Reddit and other platforms like Youtrube. It's not all about you.

Posted Jun 13, 2026To be clear, you're asserting that I'm calling Hasbro/wotc "mustache twirling villains" because I listed out very real ways that they could start being greedy? Maybe im doing that bc they have a precedent of doing greedy bad things.
Did we forget about the ogl Scandal? What about this topic right now where they made Drops content unshareable until ppl raised a big enough stink? Are we forgetting about the pinkertons being called? Brother, Hasbro/WOTC has a bad history of being greedy, if you're unhappy with that I don't know how to help you. These are facts
I also don't know why you think I'm saying im the only voice when literally in your quote reply you can see last sentence in the 1st paragraph i say
" It's not "my way" or the highway, it's everyone's way since everyone else wanted it this way"
Stop straw manning, stay on topic.

Posted Jun 13, 2026Dude...what probably happened was a stock price wobble as a result of cancelled subs & lower sales.
Unless you were part of this batch of cancellations...you didn't affect anything. A lot of people didn't affect things by being merely angry again.
Also, are you new to Megacorp 101? Nearly every incorporated company does heinous shit to their customers & employees in the name of minmaxed capitalism ever since Roosevelt died during WWII, US-wise. Hasbro ain't any degree of special for attempted reneging on a flimsily written non-contract or hiring private police & union-busters. If you knew just how many companies did horrible things where it was & is legal, even outside of the US, and react the same way every time like you consistently did here, you'd never live in a building you didn't make from materials you harvested yourself, wear no clothing and only eat food & water you got from the DEEPEST wild, let alone digital license keys on a website.
The only action that matters when a company does something you don't like is to spend nothing...provided you even spent your own money on such. & that clearly is what happened.

Posted Jun 13, 2026On a different thread, you lambasted the “howling void of outrage” against Hasbro. How ironic it is that you turn around and post this utter nonsense, which is based entirely on utter fiction.
This really should be obvious, but stock price almost certainly did not result in a change in this decision. Why do we know this? This got no press at a large scale that would really influence investors. There was no earnings report released by Hasbro showing a decline. And, when it comes down to it, D&D Beyond is a pretty small part of Hasbro - Hasbro has much worse problems right now, given the current global situation is hurting every company reliant on petroleum products, like plastic toys. This is almost certainly hardly a blip on their radar right now.
How utterly insulting your post is to Wizards staff who clearly were trying to engage with the community in good faith, asking us from the start to provide feedback. There is no reason to believe they are not engaging in good faith.
Yet you are basically calling them liars, based entirely on your hollow void of anti-Hasbro railing.. once again devoid of any merit when you apply basic common sense. You accuse this change of only coming because of some (fictional) corporate directive, rather than what Wizards staff said they did - listen to players and adjust accordingly. That’s both cruel and nonsensical in this context.
If you are going to rant about others being a problem, perhaps do not turn around and do the exact kind of meritless rabble rousing you pretend you are offended by?

Posted Jun 13, 2026"No u" is not the rebuttal you think it is.
But if I must keep it brief, I will.
Do not be willfully naive to the degree unfettered corporations, w/more rights than ordinary lower & middle class citizens, CONSTANTLY lie(Mouthpieces, fall guys, disinformation & propaganda), cheat(Unfairly low taxes, bribes, manipulate the market, gamble) & steal(Overcharge, mass layoffs, deliberately substandard goods & services, government bailouts instead of dying), among other crimes in general. You work in the legal field. YOU of all people should know how bad things are in this boiling capitalist hellhole. I expect better of you.

Posted Jun 13, 2026I was going to write out a longer post explaining, once again, the problem with applying generalizations instead of facts. But, honestly? That’s not worth my time. And it would just be platforming your insulting view of Wizards’ staff on a thread where we should be celebrating their engagement with the community.
So, I will leave it at this - I am sorry, Wizards, if you are reading this. Even when you do the right thing, certain members of your community will attack you, insult you, trying to strip credits of your efforts and apply it to some vague conspiratorial “the system.” Most of us in the community know better, and I hope you remember all of us who are actually appreciative of what you d and who are glad you all made the decision to change the implementation of Drops.
This was a triumph of community and Wizards engagement, and that’s the real lesson here for us all.

Posted Jun 13, 2026I was one of the first people calling this good in this thread, mate. I'm moreso mad that the initial launch behavior was clearly part of Chris Cocks's stated agenda for DND Beyond in a publicly available interview accessible via multiple channels, & no executive or investor told him & his buddies at BlackRock & The Vanguard Group(The chief investors in Hasbro & global enshittifiers general) "no, this is a bad idea & won't go over well or work because you don't know what you're doing".
If I'm "insulting" anyone at Wizards involved with this whole chain of events, it's the hypothetical rando employee(s) who thought to themselves, but didn't say to the right people "Not making the player options sharable at Master Tier or lower, let alone making not them buyable at a later point straight out of the gate, is going to result in backlash & possible losses for the bosses, so we may need to rethink this launch". Can you name a name(s)? Because otherwise, you yourself have made quite a strawperson to be mad over.
Furthermore, you cutting context as "insults" is, in fact, insulting to the intelligence of a reader.

Posted Jun 13, 2026The WotC culture of screwing consumers over doesn't exist any more, and I personally believe it never did, but that is also irrelevant because it's gone now. Your crusade against capitalism is a whole other matter that really has no place here.
