Base Class: Paladin
Protect knowledge and dispel ignorance.
The Oath of Erudition is a solemn commitment to protect the pursuit of knowledge and dispel ignorance. When lies spread like wildfire, when tyrants silence truth to maintain their power, when knowledge is twisted to manipulate and deceive, or when wisdom is lost in a tide of fear and superstition—at times like these, paladins arise and swear an Oath of Erudition to safeguard enlightenment and guide the world toward understanding.
Tenets of Erudition
- Seek Knowledge: Always pursue knowledge in all its forms, and share what you learn with others.
- Combat Ignorance: Where there is ignorance, provide enlightenment; where there is misinformation, bring the truth.
- Let Wisdom Guide You: Use intellect and insight to solve problems; wisdom is as much a weapon as any blade.
- Protect the Inquisitive: Protect those who seek understanding, guarding their journey as fiercely as any quest.
