With all the homebrew options in this game why did you change it so you cant attune to more than 3 items anymore?
It worked perfectly weeks ago and made it so you can attune to as many items as you want and added in all the stats accordingly. I dont even understand why you changed this.
At the very least you can put a option on the home tab removing attunement restrictions.
I thought it was like that on purpose so people could customize their characters. I mean you had an "attunement" tab that showed all the items you were attuned too. I really dont understand why they changed it... People could use that wonderful attunement tab that is there that showed everything you were attuned too. Sounds to me like people are refusing to use what is given to them and they have to make it idiot proof.
I REALLY hope they put a slider to ignore like you said.
Well that's great and all but can you remove the 6 item only restriction from the modifier? we're all big kids here we can handle it... unless i haven't figured out how to make it more?
thanks and I agree that they needed to get rid of that bug, but I was talking about the sub modifier "Attunement Slots" in the homebrew feat creator has only got a max range of 6. (which is great, but my game which we have been playing since before any of us knew about DDB we decided to not have that restriction and a few of our players have just over that number.)
I think that's because it's a core rule that you can only attune to 3 items except if your an artificer. So that opens up the maximum range (RAW) to 6. DDB generally can't allow homebrew options beyond the rules range (hence why there are no level 21 or higher homebrew options for example)
The limit of 6 attunements is primarily user-interface driven.
As mentioned, there is likely to be an option in the future for "ignore attunement requirements" which would remove the attunement mechanics entirely for the character.
If you wish to go above 6 attuned items for now, your best plan is to homebrew the magic items and set the "requires attunement" toggle to off.
Yeah that looks like the case... but! artificer is still only UA. So if that were the case why, why not just make it part of the class and not even bother with giving the option to the homebrew feats section?
Until someone working on the project says something, we will just be donkeys braying ASSumptions into the void.

There was a bug that was fixed whilst making other changes.
It was fixed because players were accidentally attuning to more items than their character was allowed to via the rules.
For now, you can homebrew a feat or subclass that allows an increase in the number of attunement slots.
In future, it is highly likely that there will be an option slider to "ignore attunement restrictions"

It makes sense to have the character sheet/builder follow the base rules by default and allow the player to "opt out" of those rules.
Currently this can be done by creating a homebrew feat as Stormknight said.

An Obstacle between you and "your" money.
The ability to attune unlimited items was a bug and not intended. DDB had to fix it to prevent unintended errors and so can't bring it back

Anything that's part of an existing class or rule is part of the homebrew system, even UA content.
