Looks good! The more I study it, the more I understand some of the choices and appreciate them. At first I agreed with Onyx that it made sense to have the save bonuses with the ability scores rather than separated out. However, considering the modifications to saves ("Advantange on...") it makes sense that way.
I am curious how some things will work (multiple speeds like fling and climbing), or with combat/actions/spells/equipment will the box resize with each or are they fixed size and will scroll if too long. But I suppose I can be patient for the final version.
I really like the use of light gray for text that is occassionally useful, but otherwise should fade into the background. However, with the proficient labels of P/E/-- (which seeing the comments above, I also DO like) the not proficients seemed to always be boxed (I presume the others sometimes boxed and not is just WIP or showing different options) - if they are different options right now, at a glance the not proficient "--" stand out more than proficient and expertise. Personally, I think that having them all not boxed works better visually and doesn't pull as much focus from the other items in the line which are possibly more important. But that's just me digging into details.
Going with a 4 column layout looks like a better use of space than the current 3 as well as combining sections into tabbed groups is good as well. I like it.
Also, personally, I'd have Inspiration either A) match the boxes around it, or B) move it to the left of speed so that it's a nice visual separator between ability scores and the other boxes. (Speaking of which, the transition from the ability scores to the walking speed to me - and this is highly pedantic details - feels like when you have two shades of color that are just different enough to clash, and not different enough to go together. Just feels like they either need to be the same (preferably not since they are different groups) or somehow separated visually just a little bit more. But that's super minor and trivial and I keep going back and forth on it anyway.)
But I am getting way too deep into digging into details on a WIP I don't know the story behind. Sorry habit from the day job. :) I'm just excited and looking forward to using it! It looks great!
Here's some feedback, then: I can't stand the "--", "P", and "E" that the new sheet uses to denote proficiency. What do you use for half proficiency? "H"? How do you tell the difference between half proficiency rounded down and half proficiency rounded up?
And then there's the whole Expertise issue.
We plan to actually use a 1/2 (but super/sub set to take up one character space) with an arrow pointing up or down. So no "H," not at all. Those will also be circles instead of boxes, and many more things that will become clear in the final (which this is not!).

Sounds good. There is still the Expertise issue, though.

Might need to be a little more specific if you want me to grok "the Expertise issue."

In this edition, Expertise is a class feature, not a game mechanic. See dwarves and the UA skill feats for examples.

Oh, yes, understood and well-known. The P and E are placeholders as well - likely be an icon for proficiency and a x2 for twice proficiency. See how we break it out in homebrew as evidence we know it's not "Expertise" across the board.
(If I didn't say it before, this rough mock is not final and probably shouldn't be too closely scrutinized.)
At first glance, I like the new layout, aside from not being thrilled with the orange-gold color of the "frames," which is hardly a significant issue, since a color I'd like better would be less pleasing so someone else. Oh, and I really liked having Ability modifiers and saving throws in neighboring columns as is currently the case, but not in the mock-up. (I would, however, be able to adjust to the mockups style)
It did, however, remind me of another suggestion I wanted to make. I appreciate how things like advantage on certain types of saving throws are noted currently on the sheet ( and the mockup.) I think the Hafling "Lucky" trait should show up in the same way. I completely forgot about it when playing last night; having it listed there would have helped.
In terms of the new layout, I appreciate moving spells, equipment, etc, up so that the most critical categories are available without scrolling. I'll take clicking on a "tab" over scrolling down any day.

Well, I guess I'll share one more thing I probably shouldn't, but the frame color will be determined by your choice of several theme colors (think Twitter).
Hi- does anyone know if buying the DMG gives the ability to add Sainity and Honour to character stats? I'll be kind of surprised if it does, but fingers crossed.
Not sure if this is the appropriate place for this, however...
On my character sheet, it is adding proficiency bonus to all saving throw modifiers, and adding proficiency bonus twice for the two saving throws my character is actually proficient in. Is this a bug anyone else is seeing?

Not seeing this either. Are you a Paladin of level 6 or higher (Aura of Protection), otherwise I don't know what could do something like that.
Will the next phase of development improve the character sheet on non-phone interfaces? Drilling down through all the expanding menus is such a pain. I'd very much prefer a simple popup. I just need it to list my features and let me tap a link to display a pop up that can then be dismissed (unlike beta).
Desktop character builder/ sheet views are going through a full revamp based on thousands of posts of feedback. This process will take us a little while (but not too long), and it will make marked improvements. Collapsibles are changing to another UI.
I really shouldn't do this as things can change, but I'll post a super small snippet preview of part of the desktop sheet view. Please keep in mind this is WIP and NOT final.
Now my wife will definetely leave me ... i will have to refresh every minute now that i saw that teaser ;) thanks for showing us that nice work you guys doing.
But i must ask because some guys asked for that lately... attunment will there be a way to add more then 3 ? since its probably somewhere in the equipment part that we dont see i was wondering since this been asked lately if you guys tought about it ? since i like introducing some set of armors or set of items that works together and give extra bonus to my players because it give me opportunity to create some side quest in my adventure or between them, will it be possible to have more then 3 attuned items ? and would it be possible later to create such set of items or armor parts that give extra bonus when all parts or more then one part are equiped or attuned ?

And will it be possible to set inspiration to be stackable? I ask because it's one of my favorite house rules.
That gives me an idea; how 'bout letting us attach notes to popups--and, as DMs, apply those notes to some or all players in our campaigns? Example: when you click on the little button that says "inspiration", the popup has a little "notes" section containing all the DM's house rules about inspiration, as set by him for that campaign.

I think right now the work around is to create a duplicate magic item and remove its attunement requirement. Be sure to check the modifiers as you may need to remove the attunement requirement individually from each one too.

I really like the way that looks. It would be even better if we could print out something similar to that as well.

I assume it has something to do with Expertise allowing you to use double your proficiency bonus. Does the sheet not account for this correctly?
