I cannot access the character sheet of 1 of my characters. I can get in and view any of my other characters, but not this specific one. I cannot access the it from my login and I cannot access it from another login in incognito mode. I have Restart Chrome. I have cleared my cache and restart Chrome again. I can access the character builder for this character and make changes to it.
I was testing out a feat earlier that had a lot of snippet codes. The feat was not added on the character builder. The homebrew feat has since been deleted trying to figure this out.
Actually I'm finding 2 other character sheets affected too:
It’s the result of incorrectly configured homebrews, probably those “Add [Whatever] Feature/Trait/Ability” magic items. Those would likely be better achieved with Feats or ass additional subclass features or racial traits. For that last one it’s likely the race, or possibly the feat you created to fill in the character stats for jumping/suffocating.

I have dozens of characters and I have checked all of them and those 3 characters do not load. They were the 3 that had 1 particular feat loaded that I changed. I have deleted that feat and it is no longer in my collection. I still cannot open any of those 3 character sheets.
All of my other characters have the items you're referring to and I have had those, unchanged for months some over a year, without issue.
I know what I did but I do not know how to fix it and I'm honestly hoping for a daily or weekly server refresh where the system goes "oh this has been deleted. fix"
Wow yeah, those sheets really lock up my browser too (Firefox; have to close the tab.)
I don't think you deleting the homebrew will suffice to fix the problem, since the homebrew item will remain in the player's inventory. (Or in your case, the homebrew feat remains applied to the character.) What you need to do is edit the homebrew feat and remove the snippet stuff that's causing the problem.
Homebrews that you've created are never truly-truly "Deleted" since you can restore them; search in your "My Homebrew Creations" for ones with Status: Deleted, then restore the offending item, and then edit to clear out the problematic parts. See if that does the trick (may need to wait the 20 minutes to database cache etc.)

Either editing those homebrews or simply removing them from the character sheets will work. (Improperly configured homebrews have a long history of exactly this type of problem here, and removing them has always worked in the past.)

The problem is that those characters still have that feat, even though the feat no longer exists. The only way to remove it is through “Manage Feats” which can only be done on the character sheets which won’t load. You may be able to trick the character sheets into fixing themselves by adjusting their character levels up and back down again, that has been known to expedite similar updates. Otherwise you may have to recreate those PCs from scratch sans the feat. I typically just add those as Custom Actions to any sheet that actually needs the info at hand because of special features/traits that adjust jump distances or whatever. For the rest of my characters I just generally remember that stuff “close enough” and check the rules if I really need to know. (How did you configure those Actions to crash character sheets?!?)
Also worth notifies that sometimes it isn’t any particular Homebrew causing the issue, but a peculiar combination of such homebrews, typically magic items. That’s why I mentioned those first. So the feat may be fine all by itself, but when combined with race/magic items, etc, is no bueno. 🤷♂️
(How did you configure those Actions to crash character sheets?!?)
However, it occurred to me that the humor is dependent on a perspective you likely do not have, and as a result it may have been hurtful.
Back before DDB rolled out that series of updates for the Character Sheet framework, this was a common thing. Like, it felt like an every day thing, and I know that on a few occasions 2-3 unrelated instances in the same day. That was when I starter Following those users and every Staffer and Mod I came across and doing what I could to learn as many known answers as possible. By the time you embarked upon your magnum opus, I honestly figured you would have run into something that would have led you to creating a thread like thIs a loonnngggg time ago. It’s as much a testament to your homebrewing as the Dev’s work. That’s a very long list you have compiled,, and this is the first time you have managed to break a character sheet with any of them. That’s frankly rather astounding considering I used to creat that Magic Items can still not add actions. To be honest, after a few months of keeping at least a generally eye on your progress, and this still hadn’t happened yet that I started to forget you missed all of that activity back then.
I'm curious myself what the snippet code was in that feat that broke the character sheets displaying. I've been making my own contributions to Mairondil's Derived Stats action; I hope it wasn't something I suggested D:
Again, I think they're best served at this point by trying to restore the deleted homebrew feat and then clearing out the offending snippet code so that it'll change in the character sheets. Fingers crossed that it works...
Edit: Oh! IamSposta the Derived Stats is a custom action not from a feat, just so you know.

I went ahead and spent yesterday recreating the 3 character sheets and deleted the affected ones. I am going to try and reactivate it if I can find it in deleted status. Fingers crossed no one loaded up the "Phil's Custom Actions" feat in any campaign I'm in.

I'm just now getting a chanced to read this. I truly appreciate your thoughts, I was frustrated at the time and just going through some offline issues. I apologize for snapping back at you. You do the lord's work answering all the mundane questions over and over and over again.
I haven't been as active in the forum the last few months because I found a fairly large group to game with. The homebrew they use and continue to add has been a challenge to recreate. I have learned the ins and outs of races/subraces/variants the last few months which has been fun. Spent 4 hours the other chatting with a guy from England about homebrew and ddb. It's not every day you can talk shop with someone about one of your passions, and ddb homebrew has honestly been my only passion this past year or so.
Wow yeah, those sheets really lock up my browser too (Firefox; have to close the tab.)

Holy shit, I never even knew about this. I have more pages of deleted creations than active creations.
I edited that feat to pull the 20+ snippet codes out. I'm thinking of using options of some sort. Pick your option, the correct action comes up. I was trying to create something versatile that anyone could use. Share it in my campaigns, possible share with the community.
I honestly never noticed any snapping, I just wanted to clear the air because I felt bad and wanted to make sure we were good.
People get busy, I get it. And I’m right there with you on the brewing, you know that.
I just try to help with something I can actually help with. (And at this point I have typed the same sentences so many times that my iPhone’s predictive algorithms do most of the work these days and I can just choose the words, or even whole phrases at a time.)
Yup, you should see my deleted homebrews. It’s like a graveyard in there.
PS- I actually just directed someone to your thread so they could use your ‘brewhack for Guidance.

Ahhh, that's a neat idea about trying with options. And yeah, I had a good number of deleted creations myself (especially COPY_OF's to see how an official thing was implemented, wish we could just view the darn things instead of needing to copy them to see the internals), so I turned a bunch of COPY_OF items into Add-Effect items :D
Did you see my recent comment in the thread with your Derived Stats? You need to add the 3 to the modifier:str before applying the @min:0, also the standing jumps don't really need to be rounded-down.
Wait, you put all of that into a single action?!? No wonder it crashed. Different action for each one, but use some form of naming convention to keep them grouped. Like maybe start each with an exclamation point so they are all together right at the top.
