The thread in general refers to homebrewing feats, but applies to all aspects of the homebrew system when adding a modifier and selecting "Bonus" as the modifier type. Because the initial focus has been to replicate WotC published material a number of combinations of 2 ability scores were missed from the homebrew system and have yet to be added.
I'm trying to create a Homebrew feat where the option is:
Increase your Charisma or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
As this doesn't seem to have appeared anywhere in published content, it hasn't been built in to the homebrew creator.
When choosing to add a Bonus modifier to the feat, I can see a lot of 'Choose X or Y', but none of those combinations are Charisma & Wisdom.
It would likely be simpler the interface were changed slightly to allow for a list of choices to be provided, rather than a drop-down list of all possible combinations.
That is what Options were designed to represent. Add one option for Bonus Charisma and the other for Bonus Wisdom.
Edit: scratch that, feat options can only be actions it looks like
You could just do Bonus: Choose an Ability Score as a temporary workaround so at least stats would be correct. It would just rely on the player to know its limited.
The workaround I have applied in my instance / case is to create two versions of the feat - one for wisdom, one for charisma - each with the stat built in, rather than offering the choice. It provides what I need and gives my players the same decisions / options, so it's fine for now.
Obviously, ideally, it should be reviewed so that there's freedom to create combinations beyond what has been published to date.
Over 3 years since originally posted and this is still an issue. Going by the "create a separate feat for each choice" would mean creating 8 feats to accommodate the single "Quori Bond" feat since you also have to create a separate one for each Quori spirit.
In the editor I can't add the bonus to ability to be able to choose between wisdom or Charisma.
Hi there donutzot,
could you be a bit more specific please about which page you are on and what you're trying to do?
Is this in the character builder, or are you creating homebrew? If so, what homebrew are you creating?
In either case, please can you also provide a link, so a moderator can take a look?

Would love for this to be fixed - want to let a subclass use Wisdom in place on Charisma for some checks.
