a few of my characters spells are not showing up. It’s specifically 2nd and 3rd level spells are not showing up when added. I add the spells and when I look at the sheet using the website or the app the spells are not there. But it shows them being able to cast at higher level but not the 2nd or 3rd level. 

I don’t know what to do. 

Is your character a 7th- or 8th-level Warlock? All their warlock pact slots are at 4th level, so any lower-level spells will be upcast.

They are level 8 

They're a warlock.

Read the Pact Magic bit on the class carefully.

This is perfectly correct.

So they are not supposed to have any spell slots for lv 2 or 3

From the Pact Slots Warlock feature:

Spell Slots

The Warlock table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your warlock spells of 1st through 5th level. The table also shows what the level of those slots is; all of your spell slots are the same level. To cast one of your warlock spells of 1st level or higher, you must expend a spell slot. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a short or long rest.

For example, when you are 5th level, you have two 3rd-level spell slots. To cast the 1st-level spell witch bolt, you must spend one of those slots, and you cast it as a 3rd-level spell.

If you check the Warlock table for 8th level it shows that Spell Slots is 2 and Slot Level is 4th.

So you have 2x 4th level slots. Not 1st, or 2nd, or 3rd. 4th, so any spells cast through your pact magic will be cast at 4th level.
