Each class only has one subclass that is available in the SRD/Basic Rules (the sources which WotC provides for free). The others would need to be purchased.
When I'm choosing the my option for martial archetype, it says I can choose between Champion, Battle Master and Eldritch Knight, but only Chmapion is available as a choice in the dropdown menu.

I understand that this thread is very old, and that you might not see this, but if you do, I hope you can do something about this issue, whether that be editing the choices available in the dropdown or removing mentions of Battle Master and Eldritch Knight.

But unless we have purchased the PHB from this website, we only get access to the options from the Basic Rules,* and for the fighter, that’s the Champion. If we want we can purchase either the “Full Version” of the PHB to unlock everything, or just those subclasses for only a few dollars. And we get credit for purchasing sections of a book so that if we want to later we can purchase the whole book at a reduced price.
*The Basic Rules is the free version of D&D that the game’s publisher, Wizards of the Coast, published free of charge.

That's not true! For the sorcerer, the only option mentioned in the text above the dropdown menu is the draconic bloodline, but wild magic sorcerer is also from the players handbook. I understand that you have to purchase either the PHB or the subclasses, but when the text above the dropdown tells me I can choose other subclasses, even when i haven't purchased anything on DnD beyond, it's quite annoying when it isn't actually an option.
I just wish they would edit that out of the fighters text, because it's the only class where I've noticed this happen.
