I'm having some trouble, and have been for about two weeks now. Every time I try to do anything, from creating a new character, to going through the forums to even just looking through the game rules it takes me to a new page that makes me "prove I'm a human" with one of those anti-robot tests. And then it has me do ike 8-10 tests at once just to prove it. it says I have to allow java script and something else just to make this stop but I have no clue how to do this seeing how I am NOT a computer savvy person. Any help from someone who has had this problem would be fantastic.
Thank you! ~CallmeKonrad

Mostly a player, but I will DM if necessary. I love me my sorcerers!
D&D Beyond was (is?) having some technical difficulties, so that might have been the cause.
As some additional steps, are you running any browser extensions that modify how D&D Beyond or websites in general work? Adblockers, Beyond20, uMatrix, etc. If so, try temporarily disabling them to see if the prompts stop.
There's a browser I can't remember the name of that results in the same problem. Puffin, I think? I am not sure. Basically the reason it generates the issue is because it's a cloud based browser that causes IP problems - it's very often used for malicious hacking. Maybe you're using that or a similar one? If you are the only solution is use a different browser.

I use the uMatrix extension, and it was set to block some scripts on the page. I ended up just whitelisting everything and the prompts have (mostly) disappeared for me. I also only started getting them recently.
Again, it could also be from the recent technical difficulties the site had been having too though.
To be honest I dont think so. I'm using the same Chrome I've been using since I got my laptop. since February its been fine but not all of a sudden it wants to start to do this. I dont get why

I get the same thing. I suspect it's because I always use DND Beyond in several tabs at once. I need to open a bunch of tabs to track my players character sheets, monsters, the current encounter, some DND art to show players on a second monitor, NPC sheets, etc. If they don't realize that multiple tabs is a valid use case for their system, they need to do a LOT more customer use surveying and adjust their detection algorithm.
Chiming in to +1 this, essentially. While I do occasionally have this come up from time to time while only using one or two tabs, it primarily comes up when I have several sheets, the campaign, the map, etc. all open in various tabs.
Agreed that flagging this as bot activity is an odd choice. The UI for DND Beyond's tools aren't exactly enabling us to do certain things any other way outside of having several tabs open when running a campaign. It also seems to trigger when I save or edit a campaign/homebrew item/creature etc. too 'frequently' in a certain time-frame. Meanwhile, I'm doing this so frequently so that if I get error-walled eternally by the 'prove you are a human' prompt and can't get past it (which also happens from time to time), at least I don't lose everything I worked on.
EDIT: My bad, didn't notice how old this post was. Surprised it's still happening!

Hello! Are you using any browser extensions or VPNs?
can't you just hold up your character sheet and show the +1 to every ability?
