So, reading the 5.5e Cleric class, I come to Improved Blessed Strikes, which says, "The option you chose for Blessed Strikes grows more powerful."
Now, nowhere here or in the Blessed Strikes does it say how it grows more powerful. Do we add another 1d8 for Divine Strike? Do we double the Wis mod for Potent Spellcasting?
Also, sidebar, why did they remove the level from the description?!? Now I have to keep scrolling up to the table to see what level those actually come online....
It increased to 2d8. It's formatted very unclearly. It's like this for a lot of classes where they don't tell you exactly which levels you get the features.
When you choose your blessed strike, you choose between divine strike and potent cantrip. When you get Improved Blessed Strikes, the option you previously picked gets better. if you went with Divine Strike, it becomes 2d8. If you went Potent Cantrip, it upgrades to give THP to yourself or a creature within 60ft equal to twice your wis mod.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

And where does it actually say that? In the Cleric page, all it says is it "grows more powerful". I am not saying I don't believe you! I would just like to see where it says that.
It's literally, whatever you already chose for Blessed Strikes, grows stronger. I don't really see how it could be interpreted any other way, but perhaps I am missing something.

Right, but it doesn't say how it grows more powerful. Not here and not in the Blessed Strikes description.
It doesn't say that you now use 2d8 for weapon attacks or that cantrips give you THP. It only says they grow more powerful. Where did you find the improvement?
Under improved blessed strikes it says what happens. Like, literally under, the next line for each part. The two choices have the same name at both level 8 and 14, so at level 14, you get the upgraded version of it.
Is this something that just doesn't show up in the free rules? I see this:
Blessed Strikes
Divine power infuses you in battle. You gain one of the following options of your choice (if you get either option from a Cleric subclass in an older book, use only the option you choose for this feature).
Divine Strike. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with an attack roll using a weapon, you can cause the target to take an extra 1d8 Necrotic or Radiant damage (your choice).
Potent Spellcasting. Add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any Cleric cantrip.
Divine Intervention
You can call on your deity or pantheon to intervene on your behalf. As a Magic action, choose any Cleric spell of level 5 or lower that doesn’t require a Reaction to cast. As part of the same action, you cast that spell without expending a spell slot or needing Material components. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a Long Rest.
Improved Blessed Strikes
The option you chose for Blessed Strikes grows more powerful.
Epic Boon
You gain an Epic Boon feat or another feat of your choice for which you qualify.
Can someone show me a screen grab that has something different?!? Am I losing my mind?!?!?
Oh, that is different. That’s so strange. Mine says:
Improved Blessed Strikes
The option you chose for Blessed Strikes grows more powerful.
Divine Strike
The extra damage of your Divine Strike increases to 2d8.
Potent Spellcasting
When you cast a Cleric cantrip and deal damage to a creature with it, you can give vitality to yourself or another creature within 60 feet of yourself, granting a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to twice your Wisdom modifier.

Okay, so they are paywalling the "free" stuff by not telling you what it actually does?
That could be, but it also could be it’s an oversight, or a glitch since we’re in this in-between time when there’s early release and not full release. You might check out the bugs and support thread and see if anyone else has posted it. And if not, post it there.
No, the information is there and relatively clear.

Do you see where I posted the entire thing in post 10? It's right there. Let me repost the pertinent part again, because he didn't post everything. I have to assume he didn't read the whole thing. Divine strike is the choice he makes for blessed strikes. You have two picks, divine strike and potent cantrip. if you choose divine strike, when you get improved blessed strikes, that increases to 2d8.

As far as I can tell, the Free Rules on both the website and the mobile app as well as the class listing on both platforms provide the full description for the feature. I can't find any place where the description is not provided. If you have a link where this is happening, I can have the team take a look.
It is also possible it was fixed in the last few days.

Yes. I get it. The problem is Arnitthebeast is seeing different stuff than you and I are.
Yeah, I clicked the first link and it still just says that they grow stronger without listing how.
Does the text you see match the screenshots that he posted, where it says Divine Strike directly under Level 14: Improved Blessed Strike? Ignore the link, focus on the screenshot.

No, I am seeing the same thing that DnD_Hobby is seeing. Look at his first screenshot; it matches the text I pasted in #7.
I'm not sure why you're getting so mad about this either...
