The new background, Faceless, from BG:DiA has been added to the list of backgrounds, but there doesn't seem to be any means to select the alternate background features for existing backgrounds. This seems like an oversight. I will be starting a BG:DiA campaign soon and have players who want to use these features, is there any way we could get Baldur's Gate Features available in character creation?
Alternative background features haven't been implemented yet as they've not figured an elegant way to incorporate it into the character builder (which was mentioned on last weeks dev stream). The suggestion is to copy the feature into your character sheet manually as a stop-gap
We're hoping to have something in place soon - we believe it's best to do it properly than do it badly but quick. 😀
Sorry for the delay!
Any ETA on this update?
DDB doesn't really do ETAs. It is either out, in development, next to be developed, or planned to be developed someday. I think this is in "next to be developed" territory, maybe "in development." Given that the new UA now does variant features for classes, they will probably want to get something in place for both soon.
Faceless is in the available backgrounds. For stuff like Charlatan: Long Lost Heir, easiest right now is to just make a new homebrew copy of charlatan and replace the feature in it.

For now you can make it in homebrew.

It should be mentioned, Faceless isn't a an alternative feature; it's a full fledged background the same as Soldier or others.

Still nothing? I don't see the new features/alternate backgrounds on the marketplace page yet :/
Edit: I see it here, but it seems it is not possible to just buy them on a "backgrounds bundle" on the marketplace.
Edit2: They're not listed, but if you buy de backgrounds bundle, they're included.
