Is there any way, or are there any plans, to allow people who have already purchased a hard copys of the D&D manuals to import that purchase to Beyond? In other words, can people who have already purchased the rule books avoid paying again online?
No, it's not possible. This has been discussed to death here on various threads. What you can do is homebrew what you need, or pay only for the elements you need. My buyer's guide (see link in my signature) has more details about those options. But please don't debate the pricing structure on that thread.

ModeratorYou'd have to use the homebrew system and enter everything by hand. That's the only way to get it for free.
