I'm not sure if it's just me, but one of the major things that I've always heard from the D&D Beyond pitch has been that I would have access to search for anything on the fly.
At the moment I don't see any central, global search where I can, for example, search for the term 'elf' and every page with either a mention of 'elf' or with 'elf' in the title is returned. I know it's not a complex thing to implement since it could be just a query on indexed columns in a database or a query on community maintained tags.
Maybe it's just that I'm just overlooking it or that I'm blind, but I think that's what I really want out of D&D Beyond (not counting the glorious character builder, whenever that appears).
So... any ETA on global search? I tried using DDB tonight when running my game and had to give up and switch to the Roll20 SRD to find the rules I needed.

Global Search is coming towards the end of Beta. Staff have mentioned that search elements are tied into everything, so would need the rest done first.
I'm sure that BadEye will announce the site search function as soon as it's ready! :)
There are so many cool and awesome things this site will eventually do - the staff are big D&D fans also and they're massively invested in making everything as amazing as possible.

Oh, okay. That's also reasonable. Hopefully it is implemented while it's still in beta and gets community input rather than just appended on.
