I am unable to share my source books with other players. This is the second campaign i've created and i've enable the "share content" but one of my players is unable to view them, he is stuck with the basic started books.
Your player needs to have a character in the campaign where the content sharing is active, before they can read your share content. Additionally, shared content only functions in the character builder for characters who are in the campaign where sharing is active.
The most likely explanation is that they are attempting to build their character outside of that campaign. Only characters currently in the campaign, or being built directly in that campaign can access shared content.
Content isn’t shared directly with site users, it is shared within the campaign itself. Players cannot join a campaign, only characters can. So the character is getting access to that content, and whoever happens to have any of those characters stored in their “My Characters” collection gats to see it because they need it to play the character. Make sense?
