Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop to let you know that the devs are working on getting this fixed. As always, thanks a ton for bringing this to our attention (especially now that it seems to be back).
+1 as a thankyou to the Dev's for working on this.
In case this is relevant - It might be an issue not with the time of posts but an actual numerical delay. I just opened a thread which I was subscribed to, and as I did so someone posted on it, and I got one notification from 12 hours ago for a different thread.
It might be coincidence, but the notifications might be updating sporadically because they update each time a post is made in a thread you're subscribed to, but also are a number of posts behind in the notification queue - so a notification from 12 hours ago is squeezed out when someone makes a new one now. Like there's a waiting queue of notifications somewhere in cyberspace that only moves when a new one is added.
Could be a red herring, but I thought I'd best mention it in case someone finds one number in the code that shouldn't be there!
It is currently 2:22 pm EST, and my notifications are still showing me stuff from yesterday as current notifications. So I guess nobody has really posted in the past 14 & 1/2 hours…?
I believe in the devs! Just reporting in that my notifications are delayed by 10 hours, and they seem to be prompted to come in by new posts (for example, I got a 9 hour notification... when a post was made in the last 30 minutes).

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
Still (or rather: again) a solid hour for me. Kevtr0n's post is my last notification. A lot of back and forth on times. Gets pretty good, then slows to like 12 hours.
[While typing] a 44 minute old post just popped on my notifications.
It’s honestly hard for me to gauge the delay because all of my (too-many) game threads have slowed down to a trickle of their normal pace... because no one is getting reliable notifications and people are constantly missing posts. This seems like it could be a bad thing if people want the site to be used regularly.

Confirming that the delay is back for me and that I’m getting notifications for posts made before mine.

Just an update that I'm currently 11 hours delayed, on GMT.

I think my notifications might be up-to-date. Quick, someone post something.
It's an illusion. Still getting mix of "new" notifications between 20 min and 12 hours.

Got notified about this only 4-7ish minutes late. Much better than the 12 hours yesterday.
Bizarrely, I find that as soon as I post on this thread it seems to speed back up again.

Nah. Still hours behind for me.
It's currently hours behind for me, and has been for a couple hours. I wonder if posting here will bring it back up to date...

My delay is now currently down to 3 hours. Is this a light at the end of the tunnel?
Edit: Now only 2 hours.

My notifications keep fluctuating between 1-2 hours old at this point, so 12-18 hours closer to expected than it’s been in a while now.
