I am trying to make a custom Githyanki subrace so that a feat can be added when chosen, a la variant human. That part works fine, but when I try to use the customized origin to reassign racial ASIs, only the +1 to intelligence shows up, and not the +2 to strength. The +2 to strength does appear in the normal racial traits. Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks in advance!
Your race because those get coded per race/sub/variant. The ability to customize the +1 Int is coded directly to the Gith base race. The ability to customize the +2 Str is coded to the ‘yanki subrace. If you haven’t added a “replacement” trait (instead of “granted”) that allows for that, then there isn’t one for the system to allow you to use. You’re gonna have to add that to your subrace for yourself to be able to use it.
