We are aware that some users have encountered (pun 100% intended) issues with deleting an Encounter from the My Encounters page.
The issue can fall into two categories.
1 - The encounter does not have a name (so is called Untitled Encounter). To resolve this, name the encounter, and then it should delete. (0.00001% of the time an unnamed encounter can fall into category 2)
2 - The encounter does have a name and cannot be deleted. To resolve this, you will need to raise a Support Ticket, as we need the dev team to run the rebuild tool on these encounters.
When raising a Support Ticket (http://dndbeyond.link/SubmitTicket), be sure to select in the form that the issue is related to Encounter Builder, include your Username/Nickname and please include the Name(s) of the encounter and the URL(s).
Please ensure you are providing all info when raising the support request. Providing the Encounter details in the following format would be ideal:

Title is self explanatory. I cannot delete one of my encounters, the option appears but after confirmation it does nothing. So - I've just finished playing through "The Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl" from TftYP. As I'm going through the encounters I've build I came across one that I could not delete and I thought you'd like to know.
I have the same problem. What's weird is the date the encounter is December 31, 1969 at 5:00PM. I can guarantee that I was not making this encounter at that time on that date. Also, this encounter has a name, but when you click on the encounter it comes up as being called Untitled Encounter with no monsters in it.
I've tried to delete this encounter a couple of times, logged out and back in, and tried it on a different computer and it's still there.
Except that when I look at it on my list of encounters it is titled. What I'm trying to say is that even though it appears to be Untitled it is not, in fact, Untitled. That part where I went to the trouble to type "Also, this encounter has a name, but when you click on the encounter it comes up as being called Untitled Encounter with no monsters in it," wasn't there because I was trying to hit a word count.
If I could figure out how to add a screen shot, I would show you what I see on my end. Since I can't, you're just going to need to trust me that it is titled and the link goes to something that is Untitled.
Maybe double trust because - once again - mine behaves exactly the same - when I see it in my encounter list it has a name , when I click it it is an unnamed encounter with nothing in it.
I just submitted my own trouble ticket for this. From my brief issues, it was because the encounter had no name. Any 'Untitled Encounter' I had or made after troubleshooting would not delete after the dialog popped up. Simply giving it a name lets you get rid of it like normal.
I have an encounter to add to the report I have tried all the suggestions above and I am still unable to delete it. Thank You besides this one encounter I am enjoying the builder. I believe something happened when I tried to delete it and it was still saved while the combat tracker was in the middle of combat. This is the only one that didn't delete, of the multiple encounters I deleted, and I believe it was the only one still in combat.
I am having a similar issue with mine. its not the matter of renaming it cause it just creates a brand new encounter and doesnt delete the old one or change it in any way...
i got the Same Issue now ... i got 1 Encounter, wich i cant delete/Edite or open. Plz Fix this ... there is only a set ammount of Encounters i can create ...
