I just tried to remove something from my collection and the site won't let me do it. I currently don't have a subscription and when I try to (on any page, collection or details or homebrew listing) remove something, I hover over the "Remove from Collection" button and it goes grey and tells me it requires a subscription to remove. The button then changes to "Add to Collection." However, the items are still in my collection.
I shouldn't need a subscription to DnDBeyond to REMOVE homebrew content from my collection. This is extremely annoying, especially since content sharing shoves it into all of my campaigns whether I like it or not.
Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the system - the ability to add/remove published homebrew to your collection is tied into having a subscription. You would require an active subscription to remove published homebrew you've added from other users.
Well, that's just ridiculous. Good to know WOTC is more concerned with money-grubbing than fixing a very obvious and inconvenient flaw in their system.

I don’t see what WOTC has to do with it: they don’t own DDB.
Came to the forum to report the same problem...it's very annoying since I do use a lot of private homebrews so disabling them on the character creation is not a good option.

Wary the wizard who focuses on homebrew, for he can create nightmares that you wouldn't even dream of

This aged poorly 😂

Any intention to look at this super annoying issue? Having to pay in order to remove things is not acceptable.
