When adding an item to inventory, if you search for the regular potion of healing, it won't show up if the "potion" button is selected, only if no categories are selected.
Also had this problem. I took ages to try and find just the normal potion of healing. the greater, superior etc are, just not regular potion of healing
This still isnt fixed. The "Potion of Healing" categorised as "Gear - Potion" vanishes when the "Potion" filter is applied - it only shows when the "Gear" filter is applied. As one of the most basic and often-used items in the game, the "Potion" filter hiding the most used potion in the game is pretty bad.

This is likely because it is listed as mundane equipment in the Player's Handbook, rather than as a magic item - it's the same on D&D Beyond.

We just ran into this problem. It is still not fixed.
It’s because it’s listed as “adventuring gear” in the PHB, so it’s treated in the system as a nonmagical item.
