I'm having a similar issue to several who have posted in this thread, I can read Monsters of the Multiverse (it is being shared) but when I wanted to update my Centaur character to the new version I don't seem to have that option. I tried to go into the character creator and change my race but I only see the Legacy versions of the changed races, not the new ones. The part that is confusing me is that this is an existing character, not a new one so I don't understand why it shouldn't work. Any ideas?

Is the character in the campaign where content is being shared?
Maybe that's the issue. It does appear I'm in multiple campaigns with sharing enabled, one DM bought all the sourcebooks (also the campaign this character is created in) and I assumed that he was the one that bought this too but perhaps it was the older defunct campaign. Is there a way to tell who is sharing what?

To my knowledge, there is not a way to see who has shared what. Note that you can just buy the new Centaur race without buying the whole book.
To add to this: I think most, if not all, of the MtoM monsters may be missing their tags. When I filter for "yugoloth", "devil", "npc", "demon", "shapechanger", etc., only the versions with the Legacy tag appear. So, for example, if I'm just trying to find all yugoloths with no other filters, I can't see the updated oinoloth.
Hopefully the developers see this, but the war priest in the collector's edition of the physical print has "Recharge 4-6" for its Healing Light ability, whereas D&DBeyond lists it as "2/Day". This definitely needs to be addressed!

Hey there! Thanks for bringing this to our attention - we were able to confirm that the physical book has this typo, and it was fixed with the digital release (meaning the one on our site is has the correct text).
Perhaps this has been brought up, but I cannot find the version of the dark Elf (Drow) in the MotM book. Was there a change or deletion that I'm not aware of?

Elf (Drow) was not included in the MotM book. It is a PHB race and has not been reprinted.
In my campaign, i have disabled the sharing of Monsters of the Multiverse from content sharing, but it is still showing up for all my players. (One of my players owns it. I personally do not). All the races are still appearing for everyone despite it being blocked from content sharing.

Disabling a source in the content sharing menu prevents the compendium from being shared. It does not stop the listings (ie the stuff that appears in the tools such as character builder) being shared. With MotM disabled, your players won't be able to access the book directly, but will still be able to use the options provided in the character builder
Then may i ask... Whats the point in blocking something from content sharing? Seems counter intuitive to not actually prevent the content from being shared...

The purpose of the content sharing toggles is to prevent players from reading adventures that you may be running for them, without preventing them from accessing associated player options.
What button can i press to make it so MotM content doesn't appear in my campaigns? We have a button for legacy content, is there going to be a button for the new stuff?

There is currently no option to filter out Monster of the Multiverse content as it's considered core content. I am not aware of any plans to add a button that acts as in inverse legacy content toggle.

I could, I guess I have to decide whether the reminder to roll 1d6 instead of 1d4 for hoof damage (the only actual change) is worth $1.99 to me.
In that case, you could create a custom attack with the correct die.

None of the new monsters got tags I think.

A lot of the new books don't have tags for their monsters. I think the only NPC-tagged creatures are from the monster manual, at this point.

Thanks for looking into it! I would never have realized that the physical book was incorrect in this case, so that's very helpful.
