I'm making a level 9 shadow sorc for a new campaign and rolling HP. But I think D&D beyond is telling me the wrong maximum possible HP, as well as typical fixed HP, for the char. It's a sorc (d6 HD) with +3 con mod, so the math for maximum HP should be:
Level 1: 6 (HD) + 3 (con mod) = 9
Levels 2-9 HD: 8 x 6 = 48
Levels 2-9 Con mod: 8 x 3 = 24
Total: 9 + 48 + 24 = 81
Yet D&D beyond says the total maximum possible is 90. It's like the first level is counted twice - both as a roll and as the typical "start with maximum".
Same for the "fixed" value - D&D beyond says it's 74, but it should be 65 ([4+3]x8+[6+3]).
I've tried the recommendation from other threads about level 1 chars (swapping to fixed and then back to manual) but it's still showing the same thing. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something.
I closed the browser and reset all my cookies and now it's all good. Must've been remembering info from when I'd been revising the char. Thanks for the help though!

Just to check the obvious, are you a hill dwarf? the extra HP per level would make those numbers correct (as would a +4 con)
Nope, changeling.
