The Background choice of Knight of Solamnia grants the feat "Squire of Solamnia," but doesn't actually add the feat to your character sheet. As it stands right now, if you wanted to take the Knight of the Crown / Rose / Sword feats at later levels, you first have to take the Squire of Solamnia feat... which you should already have.
There are two new backgrounds available in Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen: Knight of Solamnia and Mage of High Sorcery. While both backgrounds are available in the character builder - each Background also grants one of the new Feats presented in this book. Unfortunately the system for automatically granting these feats isn't quite ready - so in the meantime, you manually add the Feat via the character sheet, as shown in the .gif below:
This is also the case for the strixhaven backgrounds from a year prior.
How to add feats outside ASI is a useful thing to know in general. You will need to do this again at level 4 anyway in a Dragonlance campaign according to the books (they get the knight feat for free).
