If this rebuild doesn't fix this issue, then I have to officially give up on DDB as a toolset.

Hello, I'm wondering if this is working as intended.
On my life Domain Cleric (below), the 2 + spell slot level healing from Disciple of Life is not factored into the healing spells in the character's spells tab.
Is this an oversight or are players being encouraged to remember thier features? Might not be the best for new players.

No, it is not working as intended. Yes, DDB are aware of this. There are a ton of changes happening on the code base of DNDBeyond right now, and this is something that needs to be shelved in order for those changes to come to fruition. They will get to Disciple of Life (and other similar features) once they've finished work on this massive overhaul.
As a DM of new players, I agree that it "might not be the best for new players." If you or your players are having a hard time remembering to add this rule when you heal (and let's be honest, as a Disciple of Life cleric, most of what you should be doing is healing/buffing), you can always add the rule to the notes on the spell :)
so while dnd beyond does not represent this ability in its spell. if you are using discord and the avrae bot and in conjunction with beyond 20 browser extension. if you have that all set up and you cast the spell it will calculate the proper total using everything including the life domain feature.

I'm invited into the Alpha build of the mobile character app. And I regret to inform everyone in this thread that the Life Cleric healing bonus is also not applied in app either.

The old Character Sheet Framework couldn’t do the thing. (It makes no difference whether app or website.) The new framework that DDB has just rolled out can. That being said, it’s not an automatic process. Now that the nearly year-long work to design an entirely new framework from the ground up is wrapping up (still a few Code Devils to be banished), the DDB Devs can start to go through everything individually (Class/Subclass features, Race/Subrace features, backgrounds, equipment, Magic Items, feats, spells, Monsters....) but they have to do it all one at a time. Every Action, bonus action and reaction will have to be published checked, every modifier too. All of that code does not simply spontaneously appear all of a sudden just because the framework can handle it now. IMHO, we can afford to give them a minute to get caught up. Would you not agree?
Plus, as I understand it, fixing the Life Cleric issue also means revamping the spells service so that all the healing spells will be recognized as such by the sheet when figuring the bonus.

I hadn’t even thought if that. That means the individual spells might need to be adjusted too.... I do not envy them their task.
The problem is that it has been over 3 years that this has been a known issue. This is a core ability for a core character class/subclass. The pre-made characters in the starter set use this. A lot of people pay a lot of money to them and for such a basic ability to be broken for so long is just unacceptable. Yes, I have written code and understand how difficult it can be. That doesn’t change the fact that 3 years for a bug fix is WAY too long.

So my character has life domain, which states when you use a healing spell of first level or higher, you gain an extra 2+spell level. So, given my wisdom is 16, cure wounds should heal 1d8+6. Yet my sheet says it's 1d8+3. The same is true for my other healing spells such as healing words.
Yeah, spells are difficult to modify healing/damage values because their formatting is inconsistent. They do plan to fix this in the future (a lot of things are "planned").

I first posted on this thread about this issue on my second or third session with my life domain Cleric. That campaign has since completed and that character is now retired. After nearly 2 YEARS.
Wowzers; I, like everyone else in the past 3 years, stumbled here because I noticed my calculations felt off. Only realized at level 4 when another cleric in the group was healing for the same, and he wasn't a Life Cleric.
3 years though. Wow. A temporary workaround should've definitely been implemented; 3 years without any proper updates or workaround or notation letting you know it's broken is ... quite unprofessional.
Love DNDBeyond btw, but at least put a bandaid on it, don't just leave it sneaking into thousands of character sheets.
Yeah, I would care less if it weren't the srd cleric. Im usually working when the dev streams happen, but I feel like we need to signal boost this by asking about it there.

Ah okay, thanks for the reply. I guess I'll just have to keep track of it myself
Still no fix for this after 3 years???
And that pretty much sums up this thread.

I am a paying customer and I have introduced multiple new folks to DNDBeyond. This bug really should be addressed, I support the comments by Dreden.
