As the title says, I'm wondering whether unique items that are only in BG3 or other items in DnD-based games are considered official content per the rules of the forum and thus would not be something a user can publicly share as homebrew?
Do not submit homebrew that contains copyrighted material. We can review it again if you remove any and all copyrighted content and any references to it (e.g. Captain America's Shield, anything from Star Wars, etc.).
Do not submit any content owned by a third party D&D partner (e.g. Critical Role content, content from Kobold Press, etc).
Anything from BG3 or other similar games would fall under one of those two categories, even if it didn’t count as “official content.”

You can find the rules as to what is or is not allowed to be published here: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/homebrew-rules-guidelines#PublicHomebrewGuidelines). There you will note the following:

Thank you! I clearly need glasses because I somehow missed that when reading the rules.
