I tried making a test account to try to see what a player in my campaign can see vs not see (i.e. maps and stuff for LMOP). When I go to that second account and click "Launch Game" from the character sheet, it tells me "Your DM is not currently hosting a game session." However, when I am on my main account, I see nowhere that I can either set a time for the session or "Launch" the campaign.
How is this supposed to work? Or is it a feature that doesn't exist yet. Last week we had issues with Roll20 not displaying maps correctly, so I wanted to see if there was a way for players to see the map images in DND Beyond.
You'll have to check with whatever extension or service you are using.
Launch Game is not a button on D&D Beyond. It has no VTT at this time. There is no games hosting.

You can find the launch maps button on the campaign page for DMs. Top right by the game log button. You'll need to be a master teir subscriber to see it I believe. Can also go here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/games
I had to refresh my first time joining as DM to get the 1st map selection to popup. So there may be some issues on first load.
Well all-righty-then, DNDB is now a semi-VTT. Already. O.o Wasn't expecting this until 2024.

Do you know are there maps/VTT for Descent into Avernus ready, or only these 3 adventures mentioned on https://www.dndbeyond.com/games ? If I as player would buy Master Tier subscription, can I pass visibility and control to my MG? Would be nice to make feature enabled if at least one person in campaign has Master Tier.
I have a master tier, but it cannot be passed to anyone else. Your game master would have to have the Master Tier to be able to use it.
I cannot say if Descent maps have been enabled yet, because I don't have that, lol. They wouldn't show up in my list. To use a map pack, the DM has to own the adventure -- if they have been made so far.
I am estimating that they do not have those maps yet, simply because it is an older Adventure and they were focused more on the newer stuff.
But also, this is subject to change -- Maps is in an alpha, and they are still adding features.

There is a button we are having the same issue
Can I use the "Hero" tier instead?
