The title says it all I guess. Worked with my daughter to create a character for her to play, and we rolled dice on the mat to be a little more invested than using the random number generator. So stats are hand entered. I have made characters this way before and had no problem exporting filled character sheets, but that has been a little over a year. I am wondering if something in the website has changed?
Just as a follow up, the PDFs created here are form fillable, and some apps don’t handle for, fillable PDFs well, causing them to appear blank. As several of you have discovered, trying different apps to view the pdf is usually the solution.
Seems like the character sheet download and printed PDF is a problem again. I'm just getting a the blank PDF editable form but none of my character data on it. Is anyone else having this issue?
Continue to have the same problem and have followed all the steps including contacting support team and so far nothing. My work around has been to right click the saved file on my desktop and open with Google Chrome instead of Microsoft Edge. This has allowed the opportunity to view info, edit and print. But, if I save from Chrome and reopen, the same problem occurs, blank sheets.
When I was in the character builder and got to the end, where I had the option to Export to PDF, I tried to do it. When I clicked on the downloads button on Chrome, I saw the file as an XML file, with a message in red underneath it, saying "Site wasn't available". Nothing would open. However, if I clicked on the Resume button nest to it, it worked. Alternatgely, you can right-click on the file and choose Resume.
Work around for this issue assuming windows and that you also have Google Chrome as a browser:
Navigate to your file
Right click -> Open With -> Google Chrome
At this point your document should open with information filled out. If not, I got no clue. If you want to avoid compatability issues with the file later, continue
Select print option (ctrl+p)
Save it somewhere
Open the flat PDF wherever you want. There are no longer any interactable fields that some browsers or PDF viewers seem to be struggling with.

I am having the same problem, even old characters I have exported before are being exported blank.
Yep, I m getting exactly the same issue. Both with a just created character and old characters. Somebody please help!
Currently trying to export mine as well and getting same problem.
I have changed my PDF viewer from Acrobat to PDF X, I did this via Microsoft Store and this seems to have solved the problem.
On PC: (Windows 11 - Edge) I changed mine to PDF X and it did not change the blank export
Android Device - Chrome - It worked when I export on my android device. I just printed from there

Just installed free version of PDF X and set as default PDF, and can now open saved DnD Beyond sheets and can see information, edit, etc.

Encountering this problem for the first time having successfully downloaded before in the past. Is this a known issue (again?)

Try opening it directly with your PDF viewer after downloading the file.

It could be the same issue I was facing and commented on with https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/190115-cant-download-my-characters-sheet-as-pdf-file. If it is, I posted a solution.
I just tried that and it still shows no info filled in when I go to print
