Is the PHB being shared the 5e one or the 5.5e one? 

The portion of the drop-down you screenshotted is showing a mix of stuff from the 5.5e Basic Rules and 5e expanded content. This suggests that you're trying to make a 5.5e character while only having access to paid content from 5e. If your DM is sharing the 5e Player's Handbook, you'll probably want to switch to the 5e Rogue class.
