I've been trying to log in in the dndbeyond app on my new phone (Android 9), but whenever I select "Continue with Google" in the sign-in window, I get the error message "Login Error: Please sign in to a google account in your device settings and try again".
I know for a fact that I am already signed into a google account, as I've used it for other apps on the phone, but it doesn't seem to be working for dndbeyond. How can I fix this?
I'm having the same issue. DnD Beyond tells me to sign into my device with the account, but I'm already signed in to my phone.
I tried clearing app data and cache, since I was logged in with twitch previously, but it did not seem to help. I would prefer to use Google since DnD Beyond is the only thing I use Twitch for.

I have tried reinstalling, clearing cache, restarting my phone, but the app won't allow me to sign in through my Google account.

Two options to select are "open settings" and "close". When I select "open settings" it brings a Google login prompt. Signing into my account shows a message, telling me I'm already signed into the account on the device.

I created a Wizards of the Coast account, which I didn't previously have, and then signed into it in my browser. Then also in my browser I signed into my DnD Beyond account with Google, then I went to https://www.dndbeyond.com/account and linked the WotC account. Finally I then logged into DnD Beyond app on my tablet with my email (WotC account) which worked. Hope this helps!
Hey, this is a HUGE issue, cannot access any of dozens of content I've paid for over the years can we get some actual support/help? Would be greatly appreciated.
Similar problem. Google login tells me the account already exists on the app. It won't log in. Support offers no solution when I contact them. The app is unusable on my phone.
I installed the mobile app today and got the same issue mentioned above. I've used dndbeyond from the beginning using Google login. I don't have any other options.
This is just another nail in the coffin containing my interest in dndbeyond, WOTC, and D&D as an RPG system.
I imagine it has something to do with Google's API change that was supposed to come into effect the beginning of July. It has also broken a bunch of my Chrome extensions. The timing seems too coincidental.

This worked for me. Thanks 😊. The Google issue still needs to be fixed but this is a good workaround until it is.
It may "defeat the Google sign in option" but it's better than not being able to sign it at all.

Have the same issue on a Pixel 8 Pro with the app. Can still login to DND Beyond with a browser and my Google account though

Currently, only solution is to use the website through your preferred mobile browser

That is not really a solution, it negates the reason for having "Log in with Google" option.
I attempted this workaround, none of the content I purchased under my Google account appears when I log in with my linked Wizards account.
Mines the same!! Please fix.

Not working as a work around at least for me a few others. This needs to be escalated to the app dev team.
