Exactly as it say on the tin. The Feat options in Homebrew don't have anything to add modifiers, spells, or actions like you can for Sub-Classes. This may be intentional (I'm still new) but if it isn't figured I should report it.
Make sure that you create your feat. Once you have entered in the basic information, and save it (by 'creating' it) you get access to the pre-requisites, options, modifiers, spells and actions. You may see at the bottom of the page in an orange box:
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ADD FEATURES, MODIFIERS, SPELLS, AND ACTIONS ONCE THE FEAT IS CREATED.
To let you know that you gain access to those pieces after filling in the basic info. :)
Sorry, I wasn't clear, I didn't mean the basic options, pre-requisites, etc for feats. I meant I wasn't able to add modifiers, limit use abilties, and so on to choosable options within a feat.
Such as in a subclass, with draconic sorcerer, I can choose a color, and that comes with various effects that are built into that option itself. Feat "options" don't seem to have that same function. I can't add a modifier to a choosable option within a feat.
Again that may be intentional but I'm too new to know or not
What are you specifically trying to do? I can try to help you walk through it.
EDIT: Feats are not able to work quite like that. You can see that in the way the official feats are done. All the different Magic Initiates are separate: Magic Initiate (Cleric), Magic Initiate (Druid) etc. etc. So you would need to create separate feats to make that happens-- My Feat Name (Option), (My Feat Name (Option 2) etc.
Thank you. I was trying to make a feat called "Rogue Training" granting access to basic rogue features.
The part I was having issue with was adding in an option for choosing an expertise. I tried giving the feat "options" and tying a modifier to those, like I would for a custom subclass, but feats doesn't seem to have that function.

Oh, that's simple. Select "Modifiers". In the first selection choose "Expertise". In the second selection choose "Choose Rogue Expertise". This will have the player choose a skill they are proficient in. Add that modifier as many times as you wish to give multiple choices. When they choose the feat, they will pick per time you've entered that modifier.
I'm having the same issue. I've "created" the feat and trying to add a modifier to weapon range but there is no option under the add modifiers section for ANYTHING. Ie I have No options to choose from.

You can't change the range of a weapon - there's no modifier for that.
Soooo..... this is still a problem. I'm having the same problem, trying to add a ability score increases for my players using feats from grim hollow and I'm trying to enter the info for transformation and such manually but it's completely missing that option to add modifiers so they can do it properly

I can't even use the modifiers section in feat creation. I'm trying to add a fly speed, but it just won't give me the option add a modifier.
You need to name the feat, provide a description and other basic information, then click save - you will then be able to add modifiers.

The modifier access is broken on mobile. Switch to desktop view.
I am on desktop and it isn't working there either

When I select Modifiers, the option to 'Add Modifier' doesn't appear. Is this an issue on my end, or something I can fix?
