Not seeing the extra damage (from Proficiency Bonus) from the Heave Weapon Mastery when I look at the weapons damage in Action tab of DnD beyond character sheet.
Anyone else see this too?
Heavy Weapon Mastery. When you hit a creature with a weapon that has the Heavy property as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can cause the weapon to deal extra damage to the target. The extra damage equals your Proficiency Bonus.
I see it in both areas. I have a 4th level fighter with GWM and I have a maul or some other heavy weapon like a great sword and I only see the str modifier added to damage.
Yeah, I had originally asked because I had presumed that it would at least display the usual “+X” next to the damage rollable like it has traditionally done for damage bonuses on the website, but maybe not the app. I checked it on the website character sheet and it is absent there even. I can confirm this bug.
I was wondering this also and discovered that this is intentionally not added to your existing actions because the wording of the feat specifies that this extra damage equal to your proficiency bonus can only apply when you make the attack as part of the Attack action on your turn, so it doesn't apply to all attacks with that weapon. See this thread for more: Great Weapon Master 2024 isn't adding extra damage.
This thread How to add Great Weapon Master attack to my character sheet? discusses adding a custom action for attacks that add this extra damage because you can enter your proficiency bonus as the fixed damage modifier. You do have to remember to change it whenever your proficiency bonus changes.
