I have created a Rogue subclass with the classic number of features (2x) 3rd level, 9th, 13th and 17th and am having the same issue. Each is *Given, with Display Required Level checked. All required fields appear to be filled correctly. Can cast spalls: No. Display order 1-5.
I've read through the thread but can't find the detail I'm missing (unless I missed it). What am I missing?
Potentially solved! I just published two 2024 Fighter Subclasses that were giving me this problem (Holy Warrior and Sword Artist), and the solution is that 2024 Fighter subclasses expect a lv1 feature for some reason, in addition to all the proper features. Haven't confirmed with other classes, but that's the first thing I'd try.

This fixes the issue for me as well. Good catch, thanks!

Sadly, that didn't help with my homebrew Rogue subclass... still getting "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels."
Gonna remove that lvl 1 feature again for now. I've got... two lvl 3 features, one lvl 9 feature, one lvl 13 feature and one lvl 17 feature. That should be correct right?
It should be correct, but if it's the same type of problem then I imagine there's a bonus feature at some other wrong level that the system is expecting.

Do the regular Rogue features for every level have to be entered? I've gone back in there and still don't get it.

I went through and added one, changing the level each time... 1st, 2nd, 4th... none filled whatever blank is missing. I'm stumped. Clearly people have submitted homebrew rogue subclasses so someone knows. 🤷♂️
How do you publish Rogue subclasses now, since they have two 3rd level features and the 2014 has only one at 3rd level? I tried using the 2024 Thief template but I still couldn't publish it.
There are multiple instances of HB Fighter Subclasses no being able to be published. The fix requires making a subclass feature at level 1.
Personally, I made a feature, gave it a random name. Hide it in builder and sheet. Make it granted. Give a modifier of Bonus - Wizard Spell DC Saves. Then uncheck "Available to Muticlass" in the modifier.
Anyways, is this a known bug or issue by the devs ? Seems annoying I had to search this up then go to the 2nd to last tab in the forum of post to find a solution...

This didn't work for the Rogue subclass. ...at least not for me.
i even try to take the template of thief and publish it without any changes, still have the same issue "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels."
So i have no idea why this worked but i turned on int spell casting for the rogue and created a lvl 1 feature called spellcasting then the error "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels." went away. i even turned spell casting back off and removed the feature and the error didn't come back and i was able to publish my subclass.

This worked for me as well, however as soon as I removed the feature, the error returned. I was able to add the Spellcasting feature as "additional" in order to remove the error and not have "Spellcasting" appear in the sub-class description. Definitely an error on their part that should be corrected.
It's very odd. I can only assume it was coded with the arcane trickster and whoever coded it figured setting spellcasting at lvl 1 would be fine since you wouldn't unlock it to lvl 3 anyways. It's crazy that these Homebrew problems have existed as long as they have.
