+1 for needing to select if the subclass can cast spells or not. I don't know why that field isn't marked as required.
Before I did so, my bard subclass stated it was randomly "too similar to Circle of Spores Druid" and was missing required subclass features. I set the subclass to being able to cast spells, then the issue went away.
Interestingly, I went back and unset the "can cast spells", then saved, and my subclass is still publishable. Very strange!
I am creating a sorcerer subclass and I keep getting the "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels" thing. Does anyone know why this isn't working? If someone could tell me how to post the link, I could do that.
I'm not entirely sure how to post a link to a non-published subclass so I will let others comment on that; however, as for the actual meat of your question... In order to create a subclass, you must have a subclass feature at the exact levels as existing subclasses. You cannot assign features to be gained at different levels than the standard for the class or give extra features.
For the sorcerer, you must assign a subclass feature at, and only at, levels 1, 6, 14 and 18... Hope that helps... If not, once someone explains how to link unpublished homebrew, link it here and we can review...
So I'm getting the message "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels." but I checked and dont see anything wrong with it. I did subclassed wizard, im very confused, this is my first ever homebrew in general
I am making a monk subclass and im also getting this. This is my first time doing anything dnd related and have no clue what im doing what should I set my levels to??

Yeah but you forgot the one at 3rd level, for some reason or another when homebrewing a Druid Subclass you need to set a feature for 3rd level.
“I” didn’t forget a goshdarned thing. The post that the link in that answer takes you too was written by official staff of DDB. I don’t work here, I just live here. “They” forgot it, not me.
Somehow, it got even more confusing for me. I'm french, so I thought to add accents on letters, like é or è, which clarifies the pronunciation. I used those in the intro of the subclass, and that was what would block my creation from being validated. It wouldn't say: "non-english language." But "necessary class feature at wrong level."
When i removed those, then it became valid, all green... Can the program/website mix-up the validations ?

Possibly, out more likely what was happening is that you simply hadn’t re-saved your subclass after adding all your features. When you re-saved after removing those characters it rechecked the validations and recognized your added features. You may have been able to leave those accented vowels and it might not have been a problem at all.
Already done quite awhile ago... lol
Much obliged!

The “can cast spells” field was irrelevant, it was the saving that mattered. It triggers the system to recheck those compliances.
