For some reason a Tiefling character in my party was able to select the Svirfneblin Magic feat, and now it doesn't seem to be able to be removed. Clicking on "manage feats” has no option for removing selected feats.
Similar thing has happened to one of my characters with the added feat "Grappler." I have not purchased the feat, nor have I selected any other feats manually. How can I deselect these feats to choose one I do want?
The "Slasher" feat got added by mistake. I'd gone up to level 10 in order to look at my future choices, and I'd had the Feat field selected in the level 8 ability/feat choice section, held the up key to scroll up through the feat options, and D&D Beyond crashed. I refreshed the page, but saw that "Slasher" had been added to my feats. I tried to remove it by going back to level 3, which is where our campaign is starting, but the feat seems to be stuck.
Is there anything I can do about it besides making a whole new character with the same choices? It's not a ton of work if so, just wanted to know.
You should be able to remove it by leveling the character up to level 8, and then removing the feat from the level 8 ASI slot. Instead change it to '-Choose a Feat-' (without scrolling if possible). Then level your character back down (double check that you don't need to do anything about your level 4 ASI also).
Hi, I was playing around with Homebrew feats and added one to a character sheet. I ended up deleting the feat from my collection before removing it from the character sheet. Now its just sitting there and I am unable to remove it. Is there anyway you can help? Sorry if replying directly to you is a problem.
You can re-Add the homebrew feat to your Collection, then you'll be able to remove it from your character, and then remove the feat from your Collection again.

Anyone know how to change one of the Metamagic things when a character is able. I don't see any way to edit the original choices
For the Metamagic Adept feat? In the character sheet, go to Features & Traits, click Feats then Manage Feats, and then in the sidebar of feats go down to the Metamagic one, click the v to the right to expand it, and you'll see the dropdown boxes for the metamagic selections.

Have to admit, not being able to remove a Feat, from "Manage Feats", is just lazy programming. Should be able to remove it right there. And if it was added by an ASI, then you should THEN be prompted -- while still in the "Manage Feats" section -- to either chose a replacement Feat, or add the 2 points to your stats. Having to go back to the Character Builder, to remove a Feat, is counter-intuitive, and unnecessarily complicated.

What do I do to remedy this?
It depends on where they added it.
If they purchased the feat by using their ASI at 4th level, then they'll need to go into the character builder to change it (edit the character).
If they just added it through manage feats on the character sheet, then they can just as simply deselect it from there.
If you're still having trouble, please link the character (the full URL, not the share link) and a moderator will be able to take a look.

This was the solution, I didn't realize that was even a route to take. Thank you very much.

Did you go back to the class section in the builder and see it you chose it there instead of an ASI?

Hi! I'm having this issue now on a character I was playing with for an upcoming campaign, found here:

That worked, sort of! I went back up to 8 and then changed the option to the ASI, then leveled back down and it was fine.
Thanks for the help!
I copied the PJ, edit the copied one, and then replace it with the original. And that was the only thing that work for me.

The Feat is called "Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer Extended Spells". Thank you for the assistance.
You can re-Add the homebrew feat to your Collection, then you'll be able to remove it from your character, and then remove the feat from your Collection again.

It was a feat that I created then deleted
Okay, then go to Your Deleted Creations and Restore the feat.

You may also need to re-add it to your collection before you will be able to remove it from your character sheet.
