It's a system wide issue with the ranger. For the moment, you'll have to find a place to note it "by hand." I'm hoping that the new character sheet framework they are finishing up withh eventually allow this to be corrected.
EDIT: neglected to refresh page and missed DxJxC's response. Sorry about that!
Hey so one of my players is playing a ranger and they can only see the most recent favourite enemy. They are currently level level 6 and on the character page they can see the fact that they have chosen fiends as their level 6 favourite enemy and can't see their level 1 choice of monstrosities... felt this was important.
Now I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet but I've only recently become aware of the issue.
Public Mod Note
(MellieDM):
Merged to collected thread.
Unfortunately this is an old issue that hasn't been fixed yet.
Someone who knows better can correct me if I'm wrong, but this bug has been around for a while. Because the character sheets however are being, for a lack of a better term, 're-coded' from the ground up, I think the plan is to fix all the old bugs by having a better character sheet framework to go on which will fix all the old character sheet bugs (life domain cleric healing buffs is another classic bug that is as old as this one).
So as I understand it, the good news is that it will be fixed. The bad news is that it probably won't be for a long while as these things take time, although the new framework is being worked on as I type.
In the meantime, the best work around may be to create a custom item/action that essentially has a copy/paste text of how the old Favoured Enemy works.

As I understand it, the new Character Sheet Framework is live. But the issue still persists. I was hoping to see the fix rolled out in this update. Sorry

We were not promised that the character framework itself would fix the issue. What we were told was that the new framework was a pre-requisite for being able to begin to work on the fix. While Adam did not address this particular issue with the feat in this week's developer's update, he did say that now that the new framework is up they can begin addressing a backlog of sheet related issues.
I listened, but must have missed that. But I listened before I started researching this issue. It is a new issue to me, but obviously one that has been around for a while. I was started following the Dev Updates recently. That is how I new the new character sheet was live. As old as this issue is, I kinda figured it would be handled in the initial framework rollout. I look forward to the fix.

The new character framework was primarily a matter of "deconstructing the monolith," that is of setting up the sheet as a "micro service" separate from the original monolithic (and outdated) service. If you have seen the tech talk update, you might find it helpful in terms of understanding that piece of it. I don't know where the favored enemy issue is on the priority list, but I do know that it was a design issue, so not really fixable until the character sheet was rebuilt. One of the challenges for both DDB staff and customers is that there are LOTS of features and "minor" fixes that need to be done/are desired. They can't all be done at once and sometimes there are "cart before the horse" issues.
A player of mine is a level 10 wood elf Ranger with multiple favored enemies but only one of them showing up in the Features & Traits section. Even when clicking the class feature only one enemy shows up in the expanded pane. I made a test character and the display is the same there. Can your team correct this to display like the favored terrains? If the player doesn't recall all of the favored enemies their sheet doesn't help them.
Same here. The only way to see multiple favored enemies is going into the Edit Character option. It appears to only show the highest level selection when viewing the character sheet.
Yeah, this is a known issue that is a design flaw in the way the character sheet and database was originally structured. They just finished a backend rewriting of the character sheet and are working on the character database now as I understand it. I hope that lays the ground work to address this.
So when I look under the Features and Traits tab, for Favored Enemy it only shows the most recent favored enemies I picked instead of all of them. This persists even if I click on the feature for more information. The only place I can see all my favored enemies is when I edit the character. I would like to see the full list so I don't have to write it down elsewhere.
It is annoying, isn’t it? It is a “design issue” and not, strictly speaking a bug. It affects any class feature that has the same name at different levels, but with different/additional affects. They just finished a massive rewrite/reworking of the backend code for the character sheet; I’m hoping that lays the groundwork for addressing this issue, but it may be a while yet before that happens.
That's because it still hasn't been fixed. #Someday

Yup, same problem. I’d be guessing every ranger will have this problem, sooner or later.
Until Statesman quits being a dork, make mine DDB.

It’s a known bug. They’re working on it.

Took Dragons as a favored enemy at lvl 1, and Fiends at level 6. Only fiends shows up, though the draconic language shows up under proficiencies.

As understand it that’s the plan. It should also fix the nearly identical issue with Expertise as well.

I've also noted that the survival tracking advantage vs favored enemies does not display either. Hopefully this will be included in the fix.
