Super minor point. On the main website if you go to Sources, and look at Adventures and look at the Ghosts of Saltmarsh Icon, the image says "Coming Soon" on it.
The player version of the skull dunes map still shows the pirates path when it probably shouldn't.
I dont think DDB can edit maps. I think they get the player maps from WotC too. If I am wrong, then there are a few player maps that could use some attention...
Frustrating! (I guess it won't be too difficult, although it will be fiddly, to use Paint to remove all the dots of the path before printing if an errata isn't through in time.)
I noted that the Player Version of the Saltmarsh region map is the entire map with all location information removed, which seems a bit odd, e.g. the Seaton, Saltmarsh and Burle are definitely not unknown things nor I think are the names of the Azure Sea or forests.
Anyway, I laid the DM map over the player map in two layers on GIMP and then selected and cut out the stuff the players weren't meant to know about and merged down to make a finished map.
Okay, this is really minor thing and TBH if there was a general discussion about Saltmarsh I'd have put it in there but there isn't. Two things I'd like clarified if an errata is in the works really are:
1. How big is the Town Council? We are told of five members for sure - Eda & Gellan, Eliander & Ministrad, and Anders - but is that all of it or are there more?
2. Saltmarsh is described as having 5000 residents, but I'd say the map of the town looks like maybe 1000 tops? There are maybe at most 150 dwellings on there but I doubt most have ~30 people in them. Just wondering if it was meant to be shrunk down or the value included a lot of smaller settlements in the area?
And yes, I am the DM and I can adjust any of these to suit myself, I was just making sure these aren't mistakes in the text. (And a less experienced DM might find this trickier.)
In Appendix A, under Blue Holes, entry 10 links to Individual Treasure: Challenge 0-4 instead of Treasure Horde: Challenge 0-4.
Also, under Shipwrecks, entry 10 links to Individual Treasure: Challenge 5-10 instead of Treasure Horde: Challenge 5-10.
Under Wreck of the Marshal, location M8, the "symbol of St. Cuthbert’s magic" should be "symbol of St. Cuthbert’s knowledge" as per the previous two references to it.
Just noticed in the description of Burle it mentions this:
Kiara offers a bounty equal to 5 gp per Hit Die for any aberration, elemental, or outlaw slain in the region
However, I don't think Hit Die are really relevant in 5e now we have CRs.
Hi there TheoGB451! Monsters are more defined by their Challenge Ratings now for sure, but they do have Hit Die. For example, the Chuul has 11 Hit Die, which would indicate a bounty of 55 gp.

That's true, but in 1st and 2nd edition, unless my memory is failing me, the point was that a Hit Die was a standard amount: 1d8. Hence Kobolds were a 1/2 or maybe a 1/4 HD creature. In 5e that's no longer the case and there are CRs, which is a better system. It works out, as you say, it's just the term isn't being used in the same way, hence my questioning it.
(This isn't something from the original Secret of Salt Marsh and all the worldbuilding of Saltmarsh is new I thought so I wasn't really sure if it could be an oversight, but I believe there was a 3e version of Saltmarsh so maybe it's just been lifted out of that.)

Those bounties are pretty janky. Bounty for an Ancient Red Dragon: a whopping 140 gp.
Hello im trying to build an encounter with the pirate and sahuagin variants from the ghosts of saltmarsh but none are listed when I search for the monsters. I would have thought these variants would come up after purchasing the title.
the encounter builder entered alpha test before the release of Ghosts of Saltmarsh, so doesn't contain monsters from that source yet. This will change soon and isn't an error with the Ghosts of Saltmarsh product.
You should be able to access all of the Ghosts of Saltmarsh monsters via the monster listings or by reading through the adventures.
It doesn't do that for me.
Odd, I deleted my cache and logged back in and the problem persists:
Are the monsters from Appendix C going to be integrated into Beyond's general monsters? They don't come up in the encounter builder, etc.

But, it doesn't say "coming soon" in that picture?
In The Final Enemy, under Assault Encounters, 5. Unfinished Barracks, there is a necklace of adaption that isn't linked to the magic item database.
Similarly, there are two references to an “Insignia of Prince Monmurg” sidebar which doesn't exist.
In Appendix A, under Blue Holes, entry 10 links to Individual Treasure: Challenge 0-4 instead of Treasure Horde: Challenge 0-4.

The white blob in the middle looks like COMING SOON to me, although it's blurry enough I'd probably just have said there was text there.
(I don't see the text on my view at the moment so it's not an issue I face)
Ah, I see. My view doesn't have that text blob, although "Coming Soon" usually displays as red text next to the name of the thing.
That appears to have been fixed, the COMING SOON thing.

Consider, you probably get a sizeable chunk of its hoard, which is considerable.
