I am creating a new character using the UA Artificer class. In my class section, I am unable to see a full list of feats with either the "prerequisites required" and not toggled. I'm unsure if this is because I am choosing UA or I am doing something wrong. Any help would be great.
Have you purchased the PHB or the feats bundle here?
Is your character in a campaign with content sharing turned on?
If your answer to both questions is no, that's the reason. If the answer to the second question is yes, have the person who turned on content sharing turn it off and back on again.
I'm having exactly the same problem with a human variant ranger. All I see is CHOOSE A FEAT and when I click to open a list of feats, all I get is another box that says . . . CHOOSE A FEAT. Does D&D Beyond have a forum for technical support?

Hi hfrank,
All feats other than Grappler (which has a Strength requirement) are not a part of the Basic Rules/SRD. In order to access those feats you can purchase the Player's Handbook on the Marketplace, or use one of the alternative purchase options to purchase just the feat you're looking for, or the feat bundle. The cost of the Player's Handbook will be reduced by the amount you spend.
Alternatively, you are welcome to use the built-in homebrew tools to create the feats for your own personal use, using a physical copy you own as a guide.
I guess I don't understand. I need to spend a couple of hundred dollars just to fill out a character sheet? I own a Player's Handbook.
DDB does far more than let you fill out a character sheet. But no, you don’t need to spend anywhere near that amount. Briefly you have the following options:
Only use things from the SRD/Basic Rules/Elemental Evil Players companion (for free)
Homebrew the elements you needs (for free)
Purchase only the elements you need for the characters you want (for example, feats are 1.99 each); note that anything you spend on piecemeal purchases is credited toward the purchase of the entire book if you choose to do so later: you never end up spending more than the cost of buying the entire “book” on piecemeal purchases from that book.
Buy the books you need. If you have the PHB and that’s what you want to use, I believe the PHB is about $30. (I’ve purchased it already here, so I can’t see the price anymore)
The buyer’s Guide linked to in my signature has more information about the various choices. In each case, you are limited to 6 characters unless you choose to also purchase a subscription. But I managed for a long time with the 6 character limit, so it’s definitely doable.
Keep in mind that DDB is not owned by WOTC (who own D&D). They have to pay WOTC licensing fees, and their agreement with WOTC specifies the pricing model. DDB staff have put in a lot of work to make the character sheets and other features, and deserve to be paid for that work.
I'm having the exact same issue, but I have purchased the PHB and turned off feat prerequisites. In addition to this, some feats appear on the list but things like polearm master, sharpshooter, etc. Are not present. Any explanations or suggestions?

Did you purchase the a Compendium version for $20 (US), or the full version for $30? The compendium version only lets you read the book. If that’s all you want to do then the compendium on DDB is still the cheapest way to go, and you can read it offline with the app. Most places charge $30-$50 for just the book.
To use the full features of this website, you need the full version. If you bought the compendium, the full version only costs another $10. That’s the same price almost everywhere else charges for just the book.
How did you resynch your content? I'm having the same issue.
Sometimes it’s as easy as closing all the open tabs but one, logging out, and then logging back in. Possibly also clearing browser cache before logging back in. Not kidding, it works more often than you might believe.
Sooo All the class features, skills, ect are available, but just picking a feat forces you to purchase the PHB (or a subscription to access homebrew). That's ridiculous and sounds pretty anti-consumer. I already bought hard copies of the PHB, DMG and MM and really shouldn't be forced to buy a second copy just to use D&DB for character creation. I get that it's a separate company, but this means WoTC is collecting license fees from every online sale, so they're essentially double dipping. They should have given people who purchased hard copies a code to unlock them on D&D Beyond. They did it for the campaign book in the D&D essentials guide. So I guess lesson learned, I'm done buying books from WoTC.
The worst part of this is how it instantly killed any excitement I had about getting back into D&D after not being able to play for several years.

You can use the homebrew tools to add stuff in yourself without having to buy a book or subscription. Just don't publish anything that isn't your original creation.

It does not matter if it is a separate company or not. Even if Wizards own Beyond, they still need to employ developers and support staff to implement digital tools, and hiring people costs money. It is ridiculous to ask people to work for free, other people need to eat and got bills to pay just like you and me, especially right now in the middle of pandemic when people are getting laid off left and right.

There is also a convenient pricing and purchase FAQ that probably already answered most of the questions you are going to ask.

I purchased the full version of both, and that couldn't be it because I'm still seeing feats just not the whole list.
I had to resynch my content which I haven't had to do before. The issue is resolved. Thank you for your help and advice.
happy it worked out
