For Map 1.5 - Vanthampur Villa - The player version pop-up shows the DM version with all the room notations. Please fix this as I need the non-annotated one for my campaign.

Good catch - thank you!
We've gone ahead and removed the room numbers from the player version of that map.
Is there a way to remove the extra text for the Shield of the Hidden Lord? It clearly states all the hidden text about Gargauth including his personality, the fact that he is actually a pit lord, and how to truly free him. This make it impossible for me to fake anything about him.

My suggestion is to create a homebrew by copying the item, manually removing most of the description. I agree its not something you can give to the players as-is.
Am I missing something (looked through the book). BadEye mentioned in the latest vid that starting with DitA, encounters will be available in the adventures. I can't seem to find a single encounter listed in the book. Sorry if the is in the wrong topic, wasn't sure where to post.

That's not really a satisfactory solution to the problem. Why include all that text in the item intended for players to use when the very text itself says that it should be hidden from the players?
As far as I know, DnD Beyond does not currently offer a "DM only" description option, so the only way to get around it is to create a homebrew option, otherwise the full description for the magic item appears exactly as it does in the book.
If you wish to preserve the mystery of the story around the shield, you can create a homebrew copy of it, removing the parts that you don't want the players to see then add that to their character sheet.
What's especially sneaky about this method is that you can edit the homebrew magic item over time to add text and abilities to it, as you deem fit, and they will be visible on the item on the character sheet. :)
Not so much a bug as a potential typo. In the read aloud box for Smiler the Defiler, it says he is “Standing atop the rock, peeing into the hot wind.” Is he really supposed to be urinating, or is he supposed to be *peering* into the wind?

If I remember correctly from reading my physical copy, the content is reproduced accurately on D&D Beyond. I do believe the hint is in his name... Though I suppose it would be an easy enough change for those who question it as well!
Possible typo: Under the Yeenoghu section of Appendix D: Creatures, the first sentence of the second paragraph reads: "When Yeenoghu hunted across the Material Plane, packed of hyenas followed in his wake."
It seems likely that it should probably read "packs of hyenas".

I purchased Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus a few days ago now and whilst I can access it on the website, it simply isn't on my app. I can't even see that it exists on my app. Doesn't show anywhere as available for download or purchase and when I search for something that's specifically from the adventure like Thavius Kreeg, it returns no results. Not sure how to fix this.

Hi xDesynthusx,
Please ensure that you have the latest version of the app installed. Then try to go to your profile in the app, and tap on your icon. This should add a new option in the form of "Support options". From there you can download and install the most recent manifest. Once that has installed, give the app a quick restart.
If this does not solve your problem, I would recommend reaching out to our Support team who will be able to securely assist you with the issues you're facing with your purchases.
Hello, i made a thread about it prior but haven't gotten any notice from staff so i'll post it here as well, i recently purchased the entire infernal war machines section and soul coin item for descent into avernus. I can access the soul coin as normal, and it is showing as dark blue in the UI on the marketplace page, however my infernal war machines are all still light blue, and when clicked redirect me to the descent marketplace page, they are also not accessible in the extra's section of my character sheets. It has been a full 24 hours + since purchase.

Its actually not the DM version, its actually a different version than the DM one, it just happens to have all the room notations added to it as well.
Good catch - thank you!
We've gone ahead and removed the room numbers from the player version of that map.
Happy adventuring!

Dorie M.My book is not showing in the compendium. The app is up to date.
I agree that is a bug. For now, you can go here to see the details: https://www.dndbeyond.com/vehicles

The contents page in the app has the typo "Dangers in Balur's" gate under Balur's gate gazetteer
