Welcome to the Support thread for Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus
If you find any issues/bugs with Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus, please post in this thread.
Tressyms - Some of you have noticed a small change to the Slobberchops the Tressym (and Tressyms in general) for this book. In Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus the Tressym is listed as a Tiny Monstrosity. This is different from the Tressym from Storm Kings Thunder being a Tiny Beast. To resolve this Cat-lamaty of an issue (and also to allow us to show off the Purr-fect Slobberchops Artwork again) there are now Two Tressyms.
Found a small image glitch in the mobile app where the image for Slobberchops overlaps the White Abashi title. (Descent into Avernus Glitch. https://imgur.com/gallery/6T1HTN1)
Speaking of Slobberchops, his entry as Tressym lists him as a CR 0 monstrosity? Tressyms are first listed in Storm King's Thunder as beasts? Is this a typo or an unannounced errata?
I bought Descent into avernus, but still can't see it in my mobile app. I updated the app manually and even relogged. Using the Android Version of the app.
An update to the Slobberchops conundrum - In the Avernus module itself where he is located, it references the regular Tressym, which as for as I am aware of is the one we have always had. Only in the appendix does it list him as a monstrosity. Also, when you look up Tressym in the monster finder, it now shows Tressym and Tressym (monstrosity).
Monsters from this adventure are not showing up in the Encounter Builder.
They should be appearing - the source filter isn't there yet, but if you search for say, Abyssal Chicken it should appear. However, I'll pass the word along to the devs to include the source filter.
The floating ToC doesn't seem to match up with the currently in focus section of the text in at least the Baldur's Gate Gazetter page. I don't want to post a screenshot in a publicly accessible place. One example is that when the heading for Baldur's Gate Character background heading is in view, the Dark Secret section in the ToC is expanded. Might be an issue with my browser, anybody else noticed this?

This issue is still being worked on, and details will come when it is solved.

Tressym is the Storm Kings Thunder version.
[Tooltip Not Found] is the new Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus version.

I don't really know if this is a bug/mistake, but in Monster list (all monsters, https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters) there are two different Zariels.
I think this is the same enemy, even in the Baldur's Gate table of content she's listed just as "Zariel".
@Edit
Ok, I see, attacks are different
This is correct Maxiumus,
The Monster that is just Zariel in the monster list is the version from Mordenkainen's Tome of foes.
Archduke Zariel of Avernus is the new version specifically made for Descent into Avernus.

In the Adventure Overview is this sentence
To accomplish this last goal, Thalamra needs an artifact called the Shield of the Hidden Lord, imprisoned in which is a pit fiend named Gargauth.
But not sure where it's imprisoned. Something is missing from the sentence.
Disregard, the sentence makes sense. I just didn't understand it.
I can't filter magic items by source for Descent into Avernus
Good Afternoon GrimLesti,
Thank you for the report, this is being dealt with by the team now :)

I searched for Master of Souls and the keyword Myrkul and I got no results.
