I want to create a Feat were you get proficiency with one saving throw of your choice. Like the resilient feat but with some extras. To achive that I use the following setup:
Select Add a modifier
In the Add a Modifier screen
Select "Proficiency" from Modifier Type dropdown
Select "Choose a Saving Throw" from Modifier Subtype dropdown
Leave all other fields as default
But If I select the Feat with a character there is no option to select an ability

Your test character doesn't happen to have proficiency in every save already do they? Like from being a monk or having multiple resilient feats added already?
When you look at the Saving Throws for the Character, do you see how the numbers are written in blue? That means that the original numbers have been altered directly on the character sheet. Also, how did you add that feat? Did you add it as an ASI, or did you add it directly on the character sheet? If you added it as an ASI, then the choice must be made in the “edit character” area where you level up. If you added it directly on the character sheet, then you have to click “manage feats” find that feat, click the blue exclamation point and select it there.
I know, the Saving Throws have all a manual +1 modifier. I want to remove all the direct changes and write them as homebrew feats. I tried to add the feat both ways. There are no selection options showing up.
I'm at the Point were I just used a workaround like the resilient feat does: Create a new feat for every possible saving throw option and use the setup i mentioned to raise a specific saving throw.
If some one knows a way to create a feat were one can Choose a saving throw, please let me know! If it's the way i tried, feel free to test it yourself. If you can make it work or if you encounter the same problem, pleas let us know. Than we could determin if its a Bug or just me beeing incompetent :D.
Considering the resilient feat doesn't use the choose option, that may not work in feats.
That's correct - unfortunately some modifiers and options just don't work when used on some homebrew types.
There are some pretty technical reasons why, but the short version of things is that the community has access to pretty much the same tools that we built to enter content ourselves - they were never designed to be a user-presenting front end.
I know it may seem quite some way off, but we are very much going to get around to building a full homebrew system, with a significantly better interface.
I also thought about that. But the resilient feat have the extra condition, that you get +1 to the corresponding ability score. That would be an "if then" function not only a second choice.
But 'im fine with the solution so far. If there are technical reasons, that screw up the homebrew system, I wish you luck fixing it! Sounds like a big Project im looking forward to.
Thank you all for the feedback! I think we could consider this as "resolved"

I have run into pretty much the same problem as OP, am I correct in assuming this hasn't been fixed?

Add a link to your test character too if not.
Thank you for all your replies!
Ok, refreshing the page does nothing. Not that I expected it but worth a shot :D
For testing, I created a new feat with just the setup I discribed above. The link: https://www.dndbeyond.com/feats/268178-proficiency-with-saving-throws
I don't know, if any of you can look at the edit page. If this is a wrong link pleas tell me.
The Character I'm testing with is a figther/rough with proficiency in STR, DEX and CON saves. https://ddb.ac/characters/10338076/9kQdry
If I change the setup to: (Link: https://www.dndbeyond.com/feats/268207-wisdom-saving-throws)
The Character gains proficiency with wisdome saving throws as expected.

Did you double check that the modifier is correct?

Well, it does not work so I'm not sure at all but I set the feat as described.
