I made a hypothetical character using D&DBeyond of a level 20 artificer. I chose the infusion option of "Enhanced Defense" to be placed on the a suit of Studded Leather Armor (base AC 12). However, despite being level 20, the infusion is only granting the < level 10 bonus of +1. When I read the infusion description, it states that the bonus should be +2, but in my character's AC and on the item itself, it is only accounting for a +1.
Oh thank you! I have not learned to traverse the forums well otherwise I would have added to this one. Thank you for taking the time to share and post the link!
I have an Alchemist Artificer at character level 12 with the "Enhanced Armor" infusion; that infusion is supposed to scale from a +1 bonus to AC to a +2 bonus to AC at level 10 however my character sheet reads current level 1 bonus +1 and is not granting me the proper bonus.
does this extend to other AC calculations too? i made a homebrew for the artificer where at level three they get an ac boots of +1, then again at level 9 and 15 for a total of +3 at 15, but it only wants to add the first boost form level 3, so its only ever +1

This issue was unrelated to homebrew. Please share a link to your private homebrew and myself, or another moderator, can take a look at what the issue is.
No it wasn't. My artificer infusion is not adding the +1.
Most likely you're doing it wrong.
Works fine for me.

Not a major thing, but I if this is a bug and not a user error, I thought it should be brought to your attention.
Love the site and it does so many amazing things for us as players.
You’re not the only one. Others are having the same issue.

Any help that can be given is greatly appreciated.
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
Sorry, I couldn’t resist the glib phrasing, but for real, have you tried uninfusing the armor and then reapplying it?
This is a known glitch affecting all Artificer infusions that scale to +2 at 10th level.

This issue is now resolved. You may need to remove the infusion from the item and re-add it to see the change. Thank you for the reports!
