I am making a Grave Domain cleric, and he gains the cantrip "Decompose" as part of his always prepared spell list. However, this character has homebrew disabled, and should not be getting this homebrew cantrip. Attempting to remove it results in an API error; code 8a8e28605e5944a3b64aab88384a933d
Are you trying to remove it from the character sheet or the builder? You should be able to remove it from the builder. If that doesn't work, try enabling the homebrew toggle, removing it, and then seeing if it persists.

Can you also provide a link to that homebrew? It doesn't need to be public for a myself or another moderator to view it.
Hi having this same issue with one my players characters has there been a resolution to it?
Most likely someone in the campaign has added that published homebrew spell to their Homebrew Collection, and since it's specifically given to Grave Domain, it's effectively "always prepared" for your Grave Domain cleric player whether they want it or not. Ask your players to check their collections to see who might have added that spell and have them remove it. (Also check your own collection, just in case...)

For anyone else having this issue, naruhoodie is right.
1. Have the player check their Homebrew Collection and remove that specific entry as it applies to all characters with a level in the same subclass in the same campaign.
-OR-
2. Have the DM temporarily remove all Character Sheets from the campaign that belong to that specific player/user who made this Homebrew entry. If they aren't part of the campaign anymore then just leave them off the campaign and it won't come back.
This worked for me. It was driving me nuts for the longest time.

I have tried removing it from both. Attempting to remove it with homebrew enabled results in the same error. Code b53d4b374ddd42cb9d88422b54a1434f
I wonder if it has anything to do with the bug mentioned in this compiled thread:

Definitely looks to be an issue - I'll pass this along to the devs for further review.

Sorry to bring this up again, but is there yet a way I can remove this cantrip without re-creating the character?
Hey there - the devs are still actively looking into this issue in order to resolve it for you. Apologies that I don't have better news for you.
