Howdy!  On one of my characters, I selected the Spell Sniper feat, which was supposed to give me an additional cantrip in addition to it's other benefits.  However, I cannot figure out how to select the new cantrip.

 You cannot pick the generic “Spell Sniper” feat as it could not be coded correctly. You will have to select one of the specific versions of the feat.

Hello, sorry to ressurect this post, but I'm having the same issue when picking spell sniper as a human variant's feat.

I also don't have the option to pick the specific class versions of this:

Could this be an issue with me missing content? I'm trying to add Eldritch Blast to my sorcerer.

Spell Sniper has a prerequisite that in order to take it you must already be able to cast at least one spell. Variant Humans do not have any spellcasting by themselves. Try selecting a Spellcasting class first, and then go back to pick the feat.

Thanks for the reply IamSposta. My character is a Sorcerer (level 1) already and I don't have any options to add this in:

• Race
• Class > Class features
• Class > Spells

I've also tried adding the extra specific feats in the character sheet:

But it doesn't seem to unlock Eldritch Blast.

Did you purchase the PHB from this website, or are you accessing it through Content Sharing?

• If you are access it through content sharing, then ask whoever is sharing it to turn content sharing off and back on again.

Also, are you running any ad/popup blockers, browser extensions, or a VPN that may possibly be interfering with DDB?

I purchased PHB through the site and I'm synced - everything else seems to be fine. I reckon if I took it as a non-human variant feat, It'd likely work.

Can I ask if you try to create a level 1 human variant as a sorcerer and add the Spell Sniper feat, can you see the additional Cantrips listed anywhere? I do have some adblockers (that haven't had any negative effect so far, as far as I'm aware).

Nope, I don't believe this is a browser/cross-browser issue. Firefox and a clean Chrome exhibit the same behaviour.

I just tried it on my iPhone, running the latest iOS, and using Safari, also currently updated. I selected the V Human, went straight to the feat, selected Spell Sniper (B, S, W) and picked Eldritch Blast no problemo. I never even picked a class, never picked any Ability Scores.

Afterwords I added a level of Fighter and threw stats on it just to show you:

Maybe the Mods can help you. I’m just about at the limit of my troubleshooting capabilities, the only other thing I can suggest is to try logging out and back in and see if that works.

Thanks for all your help - I've started creating a new character and it worked, as you said! I'm going to recreate it and see if the same issue persists at any point.
