I have purchased the DMG on DNDBeyond and I can find it when I type it into the searchbar up top, but when I try to add it through the "Manage Items" option on the character sheet it just does not come up. Have tried multiple times and none of them show up. I can't find it when I try to build a homebrew item off of it either. Any idea why this is happening?

There are several different instrument types On the character sheet, you have to search for the specific instrument in question fro example, try searching for Doss Lute.
Thanks for the reply. I have tried searching for nearly every instrument, and they don't show up when I try to add them through the Manage Equipment option, or when I try to use them as a basis for a homebrew item. I have definitely bought the DMG, so I should have access to them. When I type them into the regular searchbar on DNDBeyond, I can access them, but when I try to add them to my character or use them as a template for a homebrew item, they're nowhere to be found.

Are you sure you bought it? What you’re describing is the experience of someone who has access to the book through content sharing, but who has not actually purchased it.
Click here and make sure that you have purchased the DMG, and that your “entitlements” are “synced.”

As above, it seems that your access to the Dungeon Master's Guide is likely because you have a character in a campaign that has content sharing activated, so someone else's sourcebook license is being shared with you, allowing you to see the contents when browsing.
With characters, only the character(s) that are IN the campaign where the content is being shared may benefit from that content.

Or, if you are certain you bought the DMG and your entitlements are in sync, did you buy the compendium only option?

So am I reading it right? You can cast each of the spells once each?
