I have been having fun figuring out the useful tools for creating Homebrew.
I came across multiple instances of my work done while updating the Homebrew creation of a race or item, then failing to display elsewhere, such as on the character sheet.
There were other ways too where updates failed to display, or once or twice the most recent page seemed to have been lost.
Often, closing the DnDBeyond website and deleting all the cookies seemed to resolve the problem, and after getting back in, the character sheet and elsewhere seemed to display content correctly. But I had to do this often (!) after each minor tweak.
In any case, if I had to guess, there is some kind of glitch that prevents the cookies from updating, and it is the cookies that are preventing the display and retention of the most current information.

After you make any adjustments to a homebrew you must re-save the entire homebrew using the main “SAVE CHANGES” button under “Basic Information.” That is what triggers the server to pick up your changes and update its internal cache. Otherwise you have to wait for it to cycle normally. Logging out and clearing cookies also triggers the server to update its cache.
It seems that didnt fix the issue. The character sheet still displays improperly after the Homebrew item was saved, under the Basic Information section.
The character sheet still retains the old information that should no longer exist. Even after refreshing the character sheet.

It can occasionally take up to 20 minutes for those changes to push through to any character sheet that is already using that homebrew. Usually it takes less than 3 minutes though.
But that is quite a bit of a delay. Especially when trying figure something out that is less than clear.
For example.
I thought I had figured something out.
It seemed like I should be able to create a "Knife" as a "magic item", "weapon", based on a dagger, then under modifications "weapon property" change "range" to "fixed number" "30".
But on the character sheet, the manage equipment sees the Knife − but still ignores all of the modifications relating to it. All I see on the character sheet is normal stats for a dagger.

Under "Basic Information". Ok, I will look for this next time I am there. I appreciate the response!

IamSposta,
The time delay seems to be the issue. If I am patient, it displays properly.
Thanks for the assistance.
