For characters that have homebrew toggle off (grey) homebrew spells still appear in most feats and racial traits that require selecting spells (like Magic Initiate or High Elf cantip).
Since there's no way to easily discern which spells are homebrew and which are not - this becomes quite aggravating.

Yup, it’s a known issue. For whatever reason those pesky spells keep bleeding through in those wired ways. It’s almost like the Homebrew content permissions/restrictions don‘t get applied to those feats and races until after those things pull the info to populate their dropdowns, and by then the spell is already in. 🤷♂️
I have a similar issue with the homebrew spell Decompose always showing up on grave clerics. Everytime I try to remove it, it just causes an error. It still causes the error even if I remove the spell from my collection before attempting to remove the spell from the sheet

Check the spell and see if it is being added to Grave Domain clerics. If so, remove that from "available for" box. If you ever use that to add to a specific subclass, it will add to all characters of that subclass like a "Domain" spell whether you want it to or not and regardless of what settings/toggles are set for the character.

I would, but it isn't my homebrew. It doesn't bother me enough to remove completely anyway, it's largely a ribbon cantrip with no mechanical benefits
I have the same problem. Is there any word on fixes being done? It's causing a major headache. I may just remove all the homebrew spells I have if it isn't fixed.
